To begin with: I love Thin Out Revisions, and it has been a pleasure to use for a number of years.
When WP 4.4 came, however, I noticed that the revision purge on initial publication did not work any longer.
I just now tested Thin Out Revisions under WP 4.7.4, and unfortunately not only does the revision purge on initial publication no longer work, but it turns out, neither does the manual purge.
The only functionality which still does work under WP 4.7 is the Revision Memos.
I understand that, technically, this does not warrant a one-star-rating, since Thin Out Revisions is advertised as being compatible up to WP 4.2 only, which it is.
Given the fact, though, that there no longer is any way in the Plugin Repository to indicate whether or not a plugin is working under a given WP version, at the moment I see this as the only way to let others know about compatibility issues.

It was great from the beginning, but the ease of use is just fantastic.
I like to keep things cleaned up and this is perfect.
The Author really takes care of it and improves it when needed. I have never had any problem with it.
Aldo, I really like the fail safe. That is, the auto save is labeled and the present version cannot be deleted.

Revisions can sometimes be handy to have around when you’re working on a post, but after 90 days, like the plugin suggests, it’s pointless to keep them cluttering up things.
Not sure if it’s been fixed, but WordPress did have a bug, too, that wouldn’t correctly preview posts after they were published if the revision number was set to zero. — Modifying a published post and previewing it meant changing the number of revisions to greater than zero or re-publishing it over and over until everything was right.
This plugin lets revisions be created, but automatically deletes old drafts. Thanks for creating it!

It would be great if there is a function to remove all previous revisions. At the moment, the most versions I can remove is everything between the first revision and the current one. But the first one will still be there. Is it possible to add a button to remove them all but the latest?
