When you switch the template you are redirect to homepage, with this fix the user remain the current page.
Replace in theme-switcher.php the line 180 with:
$theme_data[str_replace('?',$_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"].'?',add_query_arg('wptheme', $theme_name, get_option('home')))] = $theme_name;
Hi!
Any good updated alternatives to this plugin?
]]>It displays the themes in a list. How can I tell it to display in a dropdown?
]]>Hi. I just tried it with WordPress Version 3.5.1, and it works! Thank you. I just have to shorten all my theme zip-file names to fit the menu widget.
Suggestion: how about adding to the plugin an admin ability to edit theme names from the dashboard, so they do fit the widget menu, i.e., so we could adjust theme name’s length depending on the width of our sidebar. Would save re-doing and re-uploading the zip files.
Thank you!
This is brilliant, thank you!

Hi Developers,
I installed your Theme Switcher, GREAT IDEA! Although, depending on the theme I have selected, the Widget section of admin changes, not just the site.
Have you guys noticed this? Is there a fix or work around?
Cheers!
]]>Hello, this is my first post here and one of my first themes task with wordpress; I’m a Joomla! master.
I installed your plugin and set t in all of my four themes, in widgets.
I go to the home page of the active theme, I selected from the dropdown another theme, the new theme is displayed and when I try to go back to the old one with the browser arrow (to return to the previous page) I see displayed the admin page!
Same issue when I do the steps above after having log out from admin.
May you help to fix it please?
I need to navigate through themes starting from any of them; I wonder what is the right setting too do it please?
Thank you.
]]>Hello All,
There seems to be an incompatibility between Theme Switcher and ‘WPtap Mobile Detector 1.1’. When both plug-ins are active Mobile Detector does not function, every device simply sees the default template (where as different devices should see different templates as specified). When Theme Switcher is disabled Mobile Detector works correctly again.
Does anyone have a fix for this? I would really like both plug-ins to function together.
Many thanks.
]]>Hey, just wondering if when a theme is selected, it stays selected when that user logs off and relogins again. Is it just remembered via a cookie?
