I’m having trouble getting making the theme switcher available, as different themes have different sidebar layouts so I don’t always get the widget.
I tried using the “widgets on pages” plugin to solve the issue but it hasn’t been maintained, doesn’t work in many themes.
I have clients who won’t want to type in urls, sigh..
If there were a shortcode I could put in in a post and the theme switcher would always be available, as all themes show posts.
]]>Hi,
I love this plugin, it’s working really well except for one major flaw: I get redirected to the main (home) page of my site whenever I change the theme. It would be nice if the plugin remembered the page I was at and load that after changing the theme.
Thank for fixing this in advance,
Gabor
I was wondering if this plugin could be used to switch themes but in a different URL. for example:
the site
example.co/ Use Twenty Fourteen
the other theme
example.co/newtheme Use Twenty Thirteen
How the heck do you use this thing? I’m sure there are more tech savvy people who can figure it out intuitively. But I have no clue. Is there a step by step guide somewhere? I have two themes. I want one for my main site, and one for my store. Am I right to think this plugin will let me do this?
]]>good day every body
can somebody explain to me how to use theme switcher reloaded
when I want to use different URL
Hello,
After searching I found this plugin that is really fantastic because it allows the theme can be changed by a URL.
However I have a question: change the Theme, via widget or URL, it works perfectly. But when I click a link in post back to the active theme in wordpress. This can be solved?
Thank you!
]]>Hi, I’m using this plugin but it doesn’t work well with WP Super Cache plugin activated. When I select another theme and then I come back to previous visited pages they show the predetermined theme. What can I do? Thanks!
]]>Looks like a great plugin but uses several deprecated functions:
line 25 load_plugin_textdomain
line 247 register_sidebar_widget
line 251 register_widget_control
Also if you simply go through and update the function names, you get the error:
wp_register_sidebar_widget missing argument 3
It’s possible to correct these issues oneself, but the plugin in its present state (version 1.0) is not compatible with WP 3.7.1 out of the box.
]]>WOW!
My whole dashboard has been wiped out, I have to contact Admin:
“Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_theme_switcher() (previously declared in /home/wordpres/public_html/wp-content/plugins/theme-switcher/theme-switcher.php:220) in /home/wordpres/public_html/wp-content/plugins/theme-switcher-reloaded/theme-switcher-reloaded.php on line 98”

This happened while trying to instal & activate your new Theme Switcher Reloaded, while your original Theme Switcher was already installed.
Seems to be same directory path in new version, conflicts with directory path in original.
OUCH.

]]>I installed the plug-in and it removed my current theme and defaulted to twenty-ten. Then it removed all my widgets. I uninstalled the plugin, but my widgets had been removed completely and I had to start again.
The original switcher is better better because it doesn’t do this.
