Since some days, the web page does not update The Word for the current day.
The dashboard under Appearance / Widgets /Footer Widget1 correctly shows The Word of the current day. Also after updating the settings in the editor “Elementor”, the web page shows The Word of the current day.

]]>Starting from 2017-10-01, the plugin failed to fetch the texts from bible2.net.
2017-10-03, I fixed this (right now), the plugin works again.

Background: invalid characters in the data retrieved from bible2.net (unmasked XML characters <> in an info section of a .twd file) made PHP simplexml_load_file fail.

]]>It would be nice to have a title where for example the name of choosen bible can be seen (selectable or editable in the Widget).
And I would appreciate if the link to https://bible2.net is opened in a new tab of browser.
It looks quite different as in your screenshots and I don’t know why.
