Since updating to WordPress 5.5.1, TSF is causing 500 Server errors to be thrown all over the website. Disabling the TSF extension manager fixes the issue.

Please see below server log.

Hi, love the plugin!

I am unable to get an API key for the free version of the plugin… The settings panel shows “Error code: 2001”. When I follow the solution here (https://github.com/sybrew/The-SEO-Framework-Extension-Manager/issues/17) I am taken to a page with a button to “Get your API key”. This beings me to the pricing page. When I click “Setup Plugin” under the Free tier, I see the setup instructions at the bottom of the page, but there’s no mention of an API key, nor is there mention of it when following the “View installation instructions” link (https://kb.theseoframework.com/kb/how-to-install-the-extension-manager/). How can I get an API key to solve this problem?

I got a site with the SEO plugin “The SEO Framework”, partially on the site the plugin put meta name = “robots” content = “noindex”
When you disable the plugin, the recording disappears. How to understand why it adds a meta tag on some pages? In the plugin settings I disabled all checkboxes where there is noindex. On pages where there is this tag in the admin panel, noindex checkboxes are disabled

All of my pages have this: <meta name=”robots” content=”noindex,nofollow”> just after the title and before the SEO comment <!– The SEO Framework por Sybre Waaijer –>

I have checked the settings of the plugin and they are well configured but I have not been able to turn this on to index,follow

Hey! I have a problem with Origin Extension – it simply doesn’t work (after clicking on attachment link, it redirects me back to wp-admin). The problem is probably caused because I store my images in subdomain (my site is example.com, and my images are hosted on subdomain.example.com).

How can I fix it? I’m planning to buy Essential plan but before I do that, I need to fix Origin extension – it’s super important to me.

Can you please help me?

Hi,

I’m not able to update the plugin correctly. The plugin alerts that it is successfully updated tot 1.5.4, but in the plugin’s overview it’s status is 1.5.3 and it is asking me to update it.

Is there any way to remove the banner that warns of TSFEM’s removal from the plugin repository?

I’m using the free version of SEO Framework Extension Manager. I need to use Title Fix & Focus but each time I try to activate either one of them I get these error messages:

1. “Error code: 1071100 — An informative notice should have been placed here for the error code, but the server experienced an error.”

2. “Error code: -1 — jQ error: Not Found”

Please help.

Local SEO Option Is Not Available. Is the local SEO option no longer available in the free version? Or is the option I see to activate local SEO an additional feature to extend the free version?

Thank you very much for your work, but I have issue.

When I fill meta title on any page in SEO Framework settings, the page title takes the same text. All my pages have <h1> with hooked page title name.

So, now I have a situation when all my pages have the same title in <h1> and in <title>.
Title Fix cant help me.

I just downloaded the extension framework. I wanted to use the Focus Extension. Once activated I wanted to test out the free version to get a feel for how it works. Then consider the premium.

My question is, does the focus extension tell me what focus keywords were used before, or if that keyword entered was used before?

If not, does the premium version give this information?

If not, do you have a suggestion of how to keep track of previously used focus keywords?

Hi Sybre,

The Origin extension says that it “redirects attachment-page visitors back to the parent post”.

I just checked an attachment page by visiting the url but it didn’t redirect.

Is this supposed to redirect to the actual image url?

Here’s an example of an attachment page:

UPDATE: I just tried to replicate the issue on my local install and experienced the same problem. The attachment page doesn’t redirect to the actual image url. I tried with the Yoast SEO plugin and the attachment page does redirect correctly.

Hi, I noticed in the Articles extension there is no option for adding “review” as the type of article.

Is there any reason why this structured data output hasn’t been included, as i realized a lot of my articles are mislabelled using the “article” type.

Hey Guys,

1. As you know WordPress shuts down any HTML on woocommerce category pages. For Blogs this may be good because you want the search engine to focus on the individual posts.

For commerce product categories, it is not good. The use of HTML in product category descriptions would be very beneficial. You could do title tags, question & answer and even add links.

Here is some information regarding how to do this via a child theme.

I was thinking this would be so beneficial to any woocommerce stores SEO that it may be something you might consider implementing here.

2. I noticed woocommerce category pages that do not have any individual products added to them discourage search engines from indexing them.

This may be good in some cases but not all as the category may have many subcategories and or text.

I’m trying to fix the <head><title> value set for archive pages. There’s nothing in SEO Framework to configure this.

My theme (Phlox Pro) does have configuration for the portfolio archive title (which is what I’m trying to set), but that setting only affects what appears on the page, not in the chrome or <head><title> value.

So I was hoping that Title Fix might fix this. It’s not at all clear from the description whether this even touches the <title> value, but I thought what the heck.

Then I saw that it’s already included in the extension manager. The extensions page lists 8 regular and premium extensions with buttons to activate. Title Fix does not appear among them. I realize it runs silently, with no configurations. Still, I don’t know if it’s there or active. But I still have the wrong Archive title in head.

Having problems with title tags for images. I’ve titled all my images using this plugin but when I run a site auditor with RavenTools, it’s showing as all titles are empty. The theme is Divi and I have all their SEO options turned off.

When I activate The SEO Framework, search queries with “&post_type=product” in the URL are 301 redirected to the homepage. If I remove the post type from the url, to use the regular WordPress search, it works. If I disable TSF, WooCommerce search works again.

I’m using WooCommerce 3.4.4 and TSF 3.0.6.

Do you have any idea of what may be causing this problem?

I just want the API key not the premium license (for now anyway).
As I want to test out the free extensions before possibility going premium.

I am not sure if this make a difference but I cannot check the feed is working with the plugin but it shows as an incorrect feed.

Now I don’t know if this is benign pulled from somewhere with in WordPress or whether the Feed:is added by the plugin.

We were just using Yoast and the feed appeared correctly then.

Can you give us some advice?

Hi, unless I’m missing it I don’t see any way to bulk noindex certain CPTs. There are a lot of cases where you don’t want CPTs indexed, like page builder templates, theme templates, menu templates (some plugins use CPTs for aspects of menus), and more. I know we can individually noindex specific posts/pages, but why not give the ability to do it across the board (like with Yoast: https://www.screencast.com/t/AteSpYj6)? Sometimes doing it individually is a lot of work if there are quite a few. And some CPTs are accessible in the editor because of how they’re implemented. I just had this happen with a menu plugin. I can’t access the post so I can’t noindex it so it’s in the sitemap.
