Preloader got stuck and never disappeared to display the website. Also you are limited to 128x128px

Couldn’t get it to work on a very basic WP install. Better preloader plugins to choose from. Sadly it seems a quickly built plugin just designed to generate some ad revenue and waste people’s time. Very little features. Requires editing your theme files to work.

Not sure when this happened but now the Dashboard is littered with affiliates with this installed.
Current version installed: 1.0.9

Well, the preloader background does not disappear after the content of the page has been loaded. Developer does not answer support requests on the support forum. So you’d better try a plugin where you can have support in case of problem.

Not sure what’s up with this plug in but when I added the code <div id=”wptime-plugin-preloader”></div> after <body> in header.php, the website died. Tried different locations in header.php file, but kills website mo matter where it is placed.

Developers were responsive and helped me discover MY error quickly. Thanks.

One of the best preloader plugin, easy to setup, and ideally work, thank guys!

Installed it, followed all the instructions, but it didn’t work.
Sent 2 requests for support but never received any reply. So after 2 weeks of waiting in vain I ended up deleting the plug-in and opting for EL Preloader. At least that one works!

Can’t be easier to add a preloader in the rare occasions you need one.

Great plug in but a bit confusing as to what it does at first. Basically, the free version displays animated icon while the header loads — and so it’s a quick fix for the jumping header problem in Divi. For just about $3.00 you can choose from a wide variety of animations and also adjust the size of them.

Thank you for the awesome plugin! this is a must have!

Works as described, and it’s free.
The only criticism goes to unusable selection boxes. Still deserves 5 star.

This is the Best free Preloader Solution i ever found…
Thanks Developers!

This is a good preloader plugin but it includes functions that are disabled on the settings page. Specifically the preloader width and height. The input is there but it is disabled. It can be enabled by upgrading to the paid pro version.
I think this runs afoul of the plugin guidelines of WordPress. Specifically #5:
“Plugins may not contain functionality that is restricted or locked, only to be made available by payment or upgrade.”

I thought getting a preloader was hard! This plugin makes it so easy! You just add a line of code to your header.php upload your favorit preloader gif and you’re set!! 10/10

I tried other similar page loader and preloader plugins along side this one. There were glitches with the others, where this one just works. Just remember that if your theme updates, the new theme version might replace or update the header.php file so if that happens you’ll have to go into the new header.php and re-enter the <div id="wptime-plugin-preloader"></div>
into that new or updated header.php.
Also, I found really good preloader images for free, and at reasonable cost with good features for creating and customizing some of my own at https://loading.io (I don’t work for them or anything. I just liked the site and found it useful.)

It does what it has to do. And that’s all!

the preloader is shown, but as soon as the page ends to load, it disappears, becoming completely white. Now the website is unusable because the homepage doesn’t appear, also trying to uninstall the plugin and deleting the file with filezilla, but nothing changed…

I’m giving this plugin 2 stars… it DOES work easily… however the entire page fades in each time, including the main navigation, which ends up being looking bad. I think most web designers would want just the content to pre-load and fade in, leaving the header and footer stationary.
I asked about this in the support forum and got no response. There is another Plugin called Page Transition which addresses this issue in the forum, as well as a fix. And it works great! (Though I would prefer it be part of the basic plugin, not a complicated fix). Why then am i not using that plugin?? Well as a very frustrating fact there is a conflict with my wp lightbox ultimate plugin which my client requires.
To the Gods I ask: Please create a plugin that pre-loads and fades in the content only! Is this not how all modern fancy websites work?
