Hi,
After installing the plugin, I could no longer see the contents of the pages in the visual composer back end.
I would say that it would take a new update of your plugins.
Thanks.
Hi all,
Is this plugin still being supported?
I have been using this plugin for quite some time and I’m now trying to get an RSS feed working from my site.
Unfortunately the RSS feed has a Last Modified date
set to the most future post I have made – even those that are not part of the RSS feed itself.
This future date is allowing browsers to cache my feed and thus the feed will not refresh.
Any ideas on how I can get around this?
Thanks
Karen
Hello,
I installed the future is now plugin, but my posts aren’t in date order. It is for an events blog so the post for 14th Nov should be before the post for 12th Dec, but its last?
Could you tell me how I change the order please?

Hi,
i use “THe Future Is Now” to publish on my home page some concert events i will organize for the next quarter. The plugin works very well but, when you display the home page, this is the last event that will occur in 3 months that is displayed first, then below are the other event, till the more recent one in the future. I would like that the home page points to this next event/post, ie in the middle or the end of the page.
How could i do that ?
Thanks for you reply
Best regards
Hi, great plugin! Will this work with the latest WP version? – as the plugin hasn’t been updated for 2 years.
Would you please consider an updat? We are many users that are worried this plugin won’t work with future WP updates.
Thanks!

Is it safe to proceed that way in regards to search engines? Won’t this create a problem in listings?

Good morning.
I’m having trouble getting this to show up on my sub-domains. Is there a plugin that’s compatible w/ Networked sites? Or will this one eventually support them?
Many thanks.

The plugin shows all posts in the index loop as expected. Past and future.
However, I cannot navigate between past and future posts in single view. I can’t navigate via single view from past posts to present posts or vice versa, only within each group.
To be more specific – in single-post view, viewing the first future post, WP page nav disables “previous post”, I can only go to “next post” in the future, although there are past posts. Similarly: If I’m viewing the most recent past post, WP disables “next post” page nav even when there are future posts.

Bit of an unusual error.
I have a site in development with ‘The Future is Now!’ plugin running.
When you edit a post that has already been published, and choose to replace the featured image, it will remove / forget it once you have clicked ‘Update’ in the Publish panel.
It allows you to choose the Featured Image, but once you click that Update button it’s gone.
I have determined it is the plugin doing this, as when I disable this plugin the normal functionality restores.
Any clues?
thanks, Sam.
Weird glitch – TFIN shows all posts past and future in the index loop as expected.
However, when I’m in single-post view, viewing the /first/ future post, WP page nav disables “previous post”, I can only go to “next post” in the future, although there are past posts. Similarly: If I’m viewing the /most recent/ past post, WP disables “next post” page nav even when there are future posts.
It’s as if there is a “wall” between past and future posts in single view. I can’t navigate via single view from past posts to present posts or vice versa, only within each group.
It is possible Thematic theme is interfering with page nav, but I think it’s just filtering wp_pagenavi().

How to list only future posts,”post_status=future” dont work?
thx
Hi!
What are the implications of using this plugin on Feeds… will the post enter the RSS feed on the date in the future, or on the day it was published/uploaded? I am trying to work out how to have people subscribe to future event notifications as they come out, or be sent a reminder maybe a fixed period before.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
peter
I cannot get this to work with custom post types. I saw the previous post about custom post types but i have tried to copy the code without any luck also. Can someone please post a fix that will allow this to work on custom post types also. Im using it on a classipress theme at https://www.sellmyapp.com
Thanks
Tony

I’m sorry if this is a very stupid question, I am just curious if search engines will pick up the future posts, even if the permalink has a future month on it? I’m assuming yes, but I’m used to showing up on Google by the next day for my posts, and it seems to be taking a bit longer…
