I have configured the plugin twice as per provided outline on download. I have not been able to resolve issues with the shipping calculations as it works out the cost to thousands of Rand as oppose to the other shipping option of R57.50.
I have removed it from shipping options but need to know what the possible cause can be.

I can’t download the plugin. It doesn’t download 2 MB

]]>How can I use the Courier Guy plugin with shipping class? I would like to only ship specific products using the courier guy plugin, but I see not option to do this.
]]>Hi, When trying to activate your plugin I get the following message “Please install Woocommerce before attempting to install the The Courier Guy plugin.”
Woocommerce is installed.
I have deactivated woocommerce and reactivated it, and can see it is working.
I have reinstalled the Courier Guy Plugin and it still won’t activate.
woocommerce Version 9.0.2 is installed.
Do you know what could be causing this?
]]>Hi, my client is having an issue where customers are incurring international document courier costs instead of international non-document courier costs, resulting in shipping costing more than the products being offered (books, brochures, magazines, etc.,). How can I change this service option so that the non-document rate is calculated for shipping?
Any help with this would be tremendously appreciated.
]]>Plugin version 1.0.6. causes critical error on Woo Commerce ‘My Cart’ and ‘Checkout’ pages when enabled, even when all possible configuration options have been attempted and all prerequisites met, such as adequate funds in Courier Guy account.
The configuration includes a valid Courier Guy-supplied API Key; however, I have found that Woo Commerce requests an ‘Account Number’ whereas Courier Guy supplies only an Account Code’, I am not sure if this (labelling?) discrepancy is the cause. Also found that version 1.0.6. plugin greys out the ‘Access Key ID’ and ‘Access Key’ configuration text boxes.
Is there any other reason for this critical error that I may have overlooked?
]]>Where do I find documentation? Perhaps someone could help me understand this confusion I have over free shipping. If at product level, a product is ticked as “”free shipping”” does this mean:

]]>Hi there, I am finding that your plugin randomly deactivates on its own for no apparent reason. I’ve used an activity monitor plugin to try and find the cause but it doesn’t note it when the deactivation happens. I’ve asked our host and they can’t see anything and don’t know the cause. Is your plugin compatible with Nginx?

]]>Hello,
I installed the plugin and followed the steps in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jl-bHWzsFew
I used WP Import to import products via XML feed. On your integration page under troubleshooting it mentions the following: You must at least have two National Rates (ECO, ECOR) and 1 Local Service (LOX).
Please can you tell me where I can select these services within the plugin without having to override the price, as my client will prefer to just keep the pricing as it’s calculated by your plugin, with a slight % markup?
Also, there are no shipping classes, do I need to create them and could you please advise the correct setting for shipping classes.
Thanks for your help in advance.
]]>Good day,
I trust that you are keeping well.
I wanted to inquire if you could assist me with regards to the following query.
We have The Courier Guy plugin installed on our e-commerce website. However it’s throwing the following error and we are unsure on how to go about remedying the situation.
Ship Logic Order Not Created: Client error: POST https://api.shiplogic.com/shipments
resulted in a 400 Bad Request
response:
There are no rates for the specified service level, declared value and addresses
Please could you assist me with this.
]]>Good afternoon
We are trying to integrate Woocommerce and the Courier Guy for WordPress. We are unable to show the economy (ECO) shipping option, we are only able to show the LOX and more expensive options. We want to be able to deliver the product nationally and not just locally (The LOX option is only for local delivery). I have made sure to include only ECO as a delivery option and it just won’t show on the cart page for customers to select that type of delivery. Please could someone assist with a way around this?
Client error: POST https://api.shiplogic.com/rates
resulted in a 403 Forbidden
response: {“message”:”Forbidden”} Hi it does not matter what adress I insert, I keep getting this issue.
Hi, I would like certain items to be pick up only, how do I add that? Do i have to create a shipping class or is there setting on the product edit page. I tried ” Prohibit The Courier Guy” but never work
]]>Hi, i ahve the plugin calculating the price but the pricing is too high. R159 000 FOR A R12K PRODUCT. What do I need to change in order to get the pricing correct
]]>Hi, we are in the final stages of our online store and the only thing not working is TCG plugin.
The packaging is calculated incorrectly. It always uses a flyer and never a medium or large parcel This in turn results in weird pricing being calculated.
The woocommerce order shows LOX – TCG dashboard shows LOF. The same order that goes to Durban goes via ECO but Locally goes as LOF but at 3 times the price.
Maybe I am doing something wrong but I need support.
]]>I installed this plugin because I liked the idea of getting rates via api. So I installed the plugin about 10 days ago and to be honest, it was the biggest mistake ever. It has cost me a hell of a lot in sales and I have had to refund customers almost on a daily basis.
The plugin works when it feels like it. The calculated shipping rates are Very rarely correct, and more often than not shipping rates are double or triple of what it should be. Additionally, many customers get an error of no shipping rates available for their shipping address.
I have done just about everything to troubleshoot, from redoing settings, checking for theme or plugin conflicts, uninstalling and reinstalling, checking that products have dimensions, checking logs, creating new api keys, etc. All to no avail.
So I have now reverted to my previous shipping setup (Advanced Shipping plugin) , which always works without fail.
]]>What I would really like to see is the option for a minimum charge for courier – similar to the price overwrite, but the option to set if it’s a hard overwrite or a minimum charge.
eg let’s say you quote R85 for the courier, then I want to overwrite to R 100, but if you quote R 150, then I want the customer to pay the 150+Markup and not the R 100.
]]>Good day, I keep getting the same error for all orders:
“Ship Logic Order Not Created: Client error: POST https://api.shiplogic.com/shipments
resulted in a 400 Bad Request
response:
There are no rates for the specified service level and addresses”
I have ECO, ECOR, LOF and LAX enabled for the entire South Africa and no matter the address or parcel size the same error occurs.
Please help with a solution.

Does the courier guy plug-in support the Pudo lockers offered by courier guy? I need to include a waybill number on the post-purchase email and would like to know if this plug-in could help with that?
]]>I installed this plugin, but in the “checkout” unable to select the Province, and the block is all cramped to the left, unable to open up the options. What else can I try, installed as per instruction. I use wordpress and woocommerce.

]]>Hi all.
We are using variable products, each variation with its own weight.
When we add for example 5 of the same variation to cart and then checkout, the weight is not calculated as 5 x the specified variation weight. When we book a pickup request the weight is that of a single variation.
Anything that I’m missing here?
Kind Regards
G
UPDATE: I’ve tested this with a simple product of 7kg. I can add as many as I like to cart, yet the rate remains the same at +- R140 for my regional location. When I add a heavy weight to a specific product and add it to cart, I get a high shipping rate as expected.
]]>How the hec does this plugin work? I am really now, what the hell does all this stand for and how is the customoer to know what to choose. I dont even know?
The Courier Guy LOF: Fuel charge: R81
The Courier Guy LOX: Fuel charge: R109
The Courier Guy LSE: Fuel charge: R138
This is the most complicated plugin I had to deal with in a very long time.
]]>Hi
I’m unable to install the plugin.
This is the error I get:
Installation failed: Could not copy file. the-courier-guy/vendor/aws/aws-sdk-php/src/data/models.lex.v2/2020-08-07/api-2.json.php
Tried to manually install the plugin on the server as well but can’t activate the plugin.
Can you please advise how to resolve this.
