After contacting the plugin author, a revision was pushed out within 2 hours.
Updated, reactivated, and site is back online.

I have to say that this plugin, for a free level plugin, is just outstanding and it’s outstanding for Kevin the developer to enable all the right features without complicating things for an up-sell. With styling options and straight-forward settings it gives me exactly what I need – an input form and with custom inputs and surprising display features. A big thank you and highly recommended!

Searched a while for a testimonial plugin and compared the features. This plugin is really the best!
It offers a lot of features for free others only offering in premium versions.
It′s very user-friendly.
It′s very effective with schema.org.
It′s highly and easily customizable.
And having any question Kevin′s support is reliable and rapid.
So only the plugin name is misleading: Kevin′s plugin is much more than a “Testimonial Basics”. It′s absolutely outstanding! Highly recommended!

There are a lot of high rated plugins for a testimonials i tried, but this one the one which i could customised easily, using my own css and integrated it into my design. Also it doesn’t beg your money on the every page.

Over the years I think I have tested almost every free testimonial and review plugin, along with many of the premium plugins. For core functionality out-of-the-box, this plugin is very good, and well documented. Well done! The following is based on Version 4.2.1.
Some of the features I like are: easy to setup, basic display options without CSS, has star ratings with aggregation, multiple testimonial groups for display and input forms, works with qTranslate-X (using groups), shortcode for display and input forms in content and widgets with options for display labels, auto approval of testimonials, plays well with SEO.
Some of the features I would like to see added are: native Google reCAPTCHA, ability to change e-mail notifications, Portuguese translation.

I like the plugin a lot, except for one thing. The Captcha font size is to small and the font is terrible. My eye sight is not what it was years ago, and I have a lot of trouble trying to tell what the characters are. Very seldom do I get right the first time.

I don’t know if I’ve reviewed this before but I’ll do it again, just in case I didn’t. This is a great plugin and works great. The developer is really patient and helps even when it should be obvious. I’ve compared this to other testimonial plugins and it is straight forward, easy and you don’t get hung up on a lot of stuff that could just make it more confusing. I love it!! It is simple to set up and has excellent and easy css changes so it can be adapted to any website. Adding new testimonials from the front end is also adaptable and includes it’s own captcha so you don’t need anything else. Definitely the best testimonial plugin!
