]]>Since the update to v2.3 the plugin stopped creating popups properly. Unfortunately, because of a security issue, WP continuously updates from 2.2 to 2.3 and breaks the functionality every time.

]]>Hi, customer of mine has just reported an issue whereby the team bio’s are showing HTML tags (strong and br tags), and some of the CSS also looks incorrect (linkedin icon is misaligned in its circle)
Has anything changed with this? Rolled the plugin back a few different versions and this hasn’t helped so not sure it was caused by an update but cant figure out what’s happened to it.
]]>After your 2.3 release, all teams data on the frontend of the website is completely gone and just showing shortcode. It appears that you drastically changed the plugin, apparently did zero testing (or didn’t care that users have auto-update set on plugins), and even worse, based on these topics it sounds like it wasn’t the first time. Couldn’t use the same database fields?! Are you kidding me? If you’re going to release an update that breaks everyone’s team data, how about requiring a manual update and letting everyone know first??
]]>It seems that plugin is only compatible up to WP version 6.4.5. After updating to any WP version later than that, some of the plugin’s features disappear like the search/sort filter and the linked popup pages. Is there a solution to this?

I have been using your plugin for quite some time, and overall it has worked great. However, I have run into an issue that I can’t figure out.
When I am on the backend and use the drag/drop functionality to reorder team members, any and all data that I’ve entered into the team member fields (free html, job title and email are the ones I’m using) disappears. This data is lost for all team members, not just the one(s) that I’ve reordered with the drag and drop.
I am running WordPress 6.4.2 and Team Showcase 2.2.4. Please let me know if there is any further information you need from me to investigate this. Any help or suggestions to resolve this issue would be much appreciated.

]]>Hi, your plugin is overwriting another plugin because it has the same name and/or folder url. The one on code canyon (https://codecanyon.net/item/team-showcase-wordpress-plugin/4936368) has been around for over 10 years and now your plugin is overwriting it on sites as it says there is an update available. It happened to might site and wasted my time trying to figure out why all my data appeared to have disappeared.

I tried to use the contact form on the ThemePoints website to reach support but it is not working.
I initially installed your free plugin and configured it to see if it would work for us. It did so I decided to purchase the Pro version so it would display all of the members I added instead of just the first 10. I was hoping that purchasing the Pro version and installing it would just update my current plugin version to Pro and keep the look and feel exactly the same for all of the members. However after I upgraded to Pro, all of my member images are displaying blurry because the plugin is using a thumbnail size image (100px x 100px) instead of the regular sized image. I have tried the image height setting in the settings but that does not work. The images continue to display blurry because the plugin is using a thumbnail size image. If I switch back to using the free version of the plugin, these exact same images display properly.
So my question is what can I do to get the images for each of my members to display at their regular size instead of this thumbnail size? It appears there is some sort of setting telling the theme to use the thumbnail image instead of the regular size image or the size I have defined in the height setting. Please help.

I am currently managing a number of school websites that have staff directories. Our IT person has asked me to remove the email addresses of our staff members due to security concerns (mainly having to do with phishing attacks). So I’m wondering, is this plugin capable of allowing website visitors to contact our staff members without seeing the staff email addresses? I’ve seen one some websites where there is an email icon, but rather than giving direct access to that email address, a form pop-ups up that the visitor completed and then goes to the staff member. Can Team Showcase do something like this?

First of all, thanks for making Team Showcase! It’s a great plugin. I found a compatibility with some other plugins when I am using the lightbox option on the team page, and I have an easy fix to recommend. (I tried submitting this on https://www.themepoints.com/contact/, but got a server error.)
The lightbox tries to get content from the individual team member page using the selector .tscontent, but that class actually appears in many places on the target page when other plugins are inserting content from custom post types (in my case a site-wide notification and some mega menu blocks). I noticed in tshowcase.php that the html for the team member is added via add_filter( 'the_content', 'tshowcase_member_page' ). Unfortunately, content from those other plugins is also getting filtered and wrapped with the Team Showcase markup, including the tscontent class. That means that the lightbox on the main Team Showcase page pulls in all kinds of random stuff instead of just the actual team member info.
I fixed the issue by adding the following conditional statement at the top of the function declaration for tshowcase_member_page:

if(!is_singular() || !in_the_loop() || !is_main_query()){
return $content;
}That will cause anything on the team member page other than the main content to be returned unfiltered. The team member content will still be filtered like normal, and the lightbox will only retrieve the intended content.

I noticed this after doing the recent update. On our team page we have 3 separate groups. I am using 3 different shortcodes. Was working fine but now they are all blank.

]]>Hello, your plugin used to work well on my website, but now instead of displaying 3 columns as the shortcode is set to, it’s displaying one team member per row, regardless of the 3-column setting SET to it. Also, if I try to modify the size of the members’ images to maybe make them smaller so they can fit 3 in each row, I can only set the height and the width stays untouched so the image comes out squashed or stretched, which is clearly an error. Can you please help me here?

]]>We have been experiencing malware insertions and are trying to eliminate all backdoors. The plugin in our site has a version number of 2.1.3 but when we looked at the plugin repository at www.remarpro.com the version number is only 1.7. This mismatch is strange and while not a guarantee of hacking it should nonetheless be considered suspicious. Can you explain to us what is going on? I am recommending that the customer upgrade to your Pro version to retain the functionality. Please let us know ASAP.
