Hello! I’m trying to setup the plugin to send an email each day.
I’ve set a daily recurrence, at 08.00 AM, but actually I’m receiving the email each 10 minutes. I don’t understand where to look and what to change to have the expected results. I’ve set the heartbeat at 86400 seconds. If I disable the heartbeat, no email is sent at all.

I’m trying to run a php script but the task does not work.
Nothing happens when the specified time passes, “last run” field remains “n/a” and call count has the value 0. Also the heartbeat status remains “n/a”.
I don’t know where to fix it.

We have set up a new wordpress site where we have the need for different users to plan, write and schedule a post. Your plugin Task-Scheduler look like a very good option for this use. The app works fine if the user is administrator on the site. But we are looking for a way to have other wordpress user roles access this plugin with the wp-admin console. This is needed for our intended use where different users have the ability to post their own posts and theese are separated from other users posts. Is there a way with this plugin to have non admin users accessing the new task and edit task modes in task-scheduler?

I am a big fan of this plugin.
But, The plugin is not working well after my website was moved in a new hosting server.
The thing is,
When I click ‘run now’ or ‘delete’ button on any task or routine, the redirect url is wrong like this, “https://xxx.com:80/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ts_task_list&task_scheduler_no…”
The strange thing is ‘:80’
Also when I try to delete a ‘routine’, then I’ve got a fatal error.

]]>I have an infinity running process like syncing data remotely in every 2minutes. So I have added a task and that task reads the data table and process each row and call remote apis for updating. I have tested with adding 1000 rows and it hung up at about 53.
with max execution time out.
Then the next run also not working and whole task is hung out.
Here are my configurations.
I can’t seem to be able to get a heartbeat
“Last Beat Time:N/A”
and never runs on the ‘next beat time’
I need to daily execute a script but sometimes it doesn’t finish, at this moment it has 14 runs, 8 ends, and idk why. I tried to increase “Max task execution time” to 18000 seconds, but still doesn’t finishing some days… How can I see the logs?
The script updates a db table with about 200 columns (increasing everyday), it shouldn’t spend more than 5 hours to end the task…
Any idea? ??

Everything works fine except for the “Add new task at specified time” option. This option works only if I change the default data format for WP into Y-m-d. I’m using the Italian default format (d / m / Y), and into this mode the plugin says: “* A future time needs to be set, not past” when i create an event. There is a way to solve this?

I’ve got a PHP file that when I call directly from the URL works as expected. It is a fairly simple file, it just creates some JSON and saves it to the file system.
I’ve created a task in the Task Scheduler, told it to run my script and set it to run at midnight each day. At the end of the file running I am sending an email to confirm that the task ran. I am never receiving this email, and the JSON is never changing.
The overview page shows my task, and the last run column is incrementing daily, so it thinks that it has run. There is an exit code of 1, which if memory serves means success.
Any ideas what could be going wrong here?

and placed the folder ‘scripts’ with my php script in it my web root – as a test
this does not seem to work when I run it on the schedue or manually

I’m having an issue creating my first task. The inputs to my function, which is in functions.php, are $isExitCode and $oRoutine. At the end of my function, I include the line “TaskScheduler_Debug::log( $oRoutine->getMeta() ); return 1;”. I use an add_filter to call the function.
In the Dashboard, I proceed to add the function as a task scheduled daily by calling the add_filter – I followed the instructions given on the plugin’s welcome page. But the function doesn’t show up on my list of Tasks to be performed. Any suggestions? Thank you

I used the bitnami-wordpress 4.9.5.0 version to install the wrodpress. Everything is fine and welcome page can shown properly. I intent to execute the PHP file for every 10 minutes. During adding the task then I intent to select the folder of PHP file and found it only shown “img” folder and nothing can be selected. Can you let me know what kind of possibility error can cause this happen?
By the way, i have installed the bitmami-wordpress as super user but it does not work out as well. Also, i have tried Mac OS and Windows version, but the result is the same.
