I’ve purchased the premium version and got an email with a broken download ling and no key. I’ve tried to contact the developer emailing 4 times. I’ve got no reply. When I checked comments here, noticed that I’m not the only one. I’ve to contact my credit card company about this issue.

I used Table Shipping Rate by Mangohour during 2 years, very happy with the results. But there is no update since 12 months. Then I moved to Table Shipping Rate by WooCommerce with a subscription 99$/year. I cannot let the website run a software not tested with the current version of WordPress. WooCommerce had also a major update recently to 3.0.1 and I don’t know the compatibility of the new version of WooCommerce with the version of Table Shipping Rate by Mangohour.

I was initially excited about this plugin, because it did exactly what I was looking for. However, after setting it up, I discovered that I could no longer add, update or activate WordPress plugins. On visiting the Mangohour website for support, I found that the website was timing out and their contact page was not working. I do not expect a paid plugin to come without support. Not impressed at all.

Basically the plugin does what it should do well. But there are some weird things and we don’t know what causes this (e.g. if there’s a client logged in who shouldn’t be charged vat, vat is added to shipping costs, although we configured it so that it should be correct).
So we sent some questions to the developer through their website. We didn’t get any respond and I saw, that in the support forum here on www.remarpro.com they didn’t reply for 1 month on the most actual topics.
So I assume this plugin gets no development any more and purchasing should be avoided because of this reason.
There are pretty promising alternatives: https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-advanced-shipping/8634573?s_rank=1 or https://tablerateshipping.com/ – so don’t waste your money here.

First it doesn’t work. You’ll get a wrong calculated price for the shipping and on top a wrong calculated VAT.
But this isn’t enough… After this you obviously are going to want your money back, but mangohour have another plan with you… No one will reply to your Mails, no one will give you your money back.

I’m actually on WP 4.6 now, but that’s no issue.
Table Rate Shipping Plus was a dream when I got it around 18 months ago. It made my site so much better and worked like a dream.
What a shame that Mangohour seem to have gone in to hiding.
The problem I have had is with class priority, which is in the wrong order now for some reason and the drag and drop facility will not work.
3 requests for help over the last month and no response.
Looks like I’ll have to bin it and set up the new Woocommerce Shipping Zones and hope that it works effectively.

Incompatible with WooCommerce 2.6
I purchased the premium version, support is useless they haven’t replied for over a month even though i have emailed several times. So no refunds.

This plug in is incompatible with the 2.6 update to woocommerce.
Tech support are nowhere to be seen on this or any other issue, so there is no indication of when an update is going to come or not.
Time to move on to more responsive and responsible vendors.

Since WooCommerce update (v. 2.6.2), and Table Rate Shipping update too (v. 1.2.1), the based-on-weight shipping rate is not working anymore. I couldn”t find any help on forum and support, the plugin author hasn’t answered support questions for two month now.
To resolve my issue I had to desactivate the plugin, create different shipping classes in WooCommerce, and RE-EDIT EVERY PRODUCT to attribute one of my new shipping classes to it.

The official table rate shipping plugin over at Woothemes runs something like $99.
This one is free.
I’ve used both now.
This one is easy to use. The official one is a bit more difficult to learn at first. The official one does have a few more options, but for most scenarios, this plugin works well, specifically:
Different Rates to Different Countries
Want to charge Canada $5 / order and the US $10 / order? You can do that.
Want to charge Germany, England and Italy $50 shipping / order but the rest of the world nothing? Easily done.
Different Rates Based on Weight
Want to charge $1 shipping if the cart’s total weight is only 1 kilo, but $5 shipping if the weight is over 1 kilo? No problem.
You can add in multiple entries, like:
0lbs – 10lbs, $5 shipping
10.1lbs – 15lbs, $7.50 shipping
15.1lbs or more, $15 shipping
Add any weights or dollar amounts you’d like, and you can combine this with the country filters, too.
So you can charge different amounts based on weight & country at the same time.
Other Bonuses
# Choose whether to charge tax on the shipping or not.
# Choose whether to add a single handling fee to the entire order.

I have products varying from 0,5 kg to 10 kg and I want to sell them in all Italy. My courier has prices depending on weight and Italy provinces. Until now the best way to organize was using this plugin. But I need some more professional help. Can someone explain how to better use table rating plugin with the above characteristics.

This plugin is PERFECT for my shipping needs. (So thankful for the free version!)
I needed a very simple tiered shipping table based on the customer’s total order price. In just 5 minutes of setting up the options, the shipping prices were already working on the frontend of my website!! SO EASY. I was able to create shipping rules for U.S. domestic shipping and also shipping rules for “everywhere else” (international shipping). Fits my needs exactly.

I needed to do table rates shipping for multiple areas in the UK based on postcodes – this works perfectly!
I had it set up with all the postcode ranges within half an hour of installing it and, so far, it all seems to work!
The admin side for setting up the zones and the shipping rates is very well thought out – for example, all the weight/price ranges are editable on one screen and then saved in one go.
