Everything worked fine since the last WordPress Update 6.6.1. Now we get the message in our custom GPT: It seems there is still an issue with retrieving the posts from the API. Unfortunately, I’m unable to access the data at the moment. If you have any other requests or need assistance with something else, feel free to ask!

]]>I’m following the instructions exactly, but it seems no matter what I try I always get a connection error when trying to test within my GPT. I’m using a staging site with the base theme, with no other plug-ins, so I’ve ruled out conflicts on that front.
My hosting (SiteGround) has confirmed they are not blocking any API connection attempts. In fact, no relevant error logs seem to be created at all.
I’ve tried using no authentication as in the instructions and also with API tokens, but the error connecting is always the same.
I’m starting to think something has changed in the way OpenAI handles these connections and this method no longer works? Can anything confirm they have used this method to connect their WordPress site to a GPT and it is working correctly as of today (August 26, 2024)?
