The plugins works fine but i would like to address the terminology used in the plugin and its documentation regarding the “part payment widget.” In WordPress, the term “widget” commonly refers to elements that can be added to a site’s sidebar, footer, or other widget-ready areas through the WordPress admin interface. However, the “part payment widget” in your plugin is implemented via a shortcode ([svea_checkout_part_payment_widget]), which is inserted directly into the content area of a page.
The use of the term “widget” for this feature has the potential to cause confusion, as it suggests that the feature might be added via the Appearance > Widgets section of WordPress, which is not the case. Users may expect to find a draggable widget in the admin interface, when in fact, the feature is a shortcode that must be placed within the content of a product page.
For clarity and to enhance the user experience, I kindly suggest considering a revision of the terminology used in the plugin’s UI and documentation. Renaming the feature to “Part Payment Shortcode” or a similar variation could help align with WordPress conventions and user expectations.
Thank you for considering this feedback. I believe that this small change could make a significant difference in how users interact with and understand the functionality of the plugin.
