I am looking for an age verification system linked to a product category (wine and spirit), i.e. that all products falling under this category can only be seen after an age verification (DD MM YYYY).
What is the best way to do it?

Hello, I have 2 problems.
One is that no matter in which buttons I give information, the buttons do not change and stay as they are, i.e. wrong – Button with the text “EXIT.” is a button that passes through an age gate and a button that says “I’m over 18 years old.” redirects me to the address given in the settings, replacing the texts in the buttons does not change anything, they are still set the same.

The second problem concerns setting the age gate in blog posts – I added the ID of several posts and the gate appears on all of the given posts except one, on one post the gate simply does not appear, even though its ID is the same as the others.

The pop-up keeps popping up when “NO” is selected.

Debug mode is off and I even excluded the page to where users are redirected when they selected “NO”.

How can I fix this?

We’ve installed it one of our projects (premium version), but it seems that there is something wrong.
We want to display pop up only on specific category pages and products.
We’ve setup it like this: https://ibb.co/NSkBTYZ
But pop up is shown on all category pages.
If I deselect Product category pages button, but leave IDs – then pop up is not shown at all.
What I am doing wrong? How to setup pop up only on certain product categories and certain products?

The pop up needs to work on ANY page you land on the first time you visit the site for that particular session. So if there is a link to a page from Google (that is not the home page) the age verification needs to pop up. Once verified, the user should be able to navigate their way through the site without it popping up again, until they get to the checkout. When going to the checkout page, it must pop up again.
I have played with the settings, but cannot get it to do this. It either pops up every time on every page all the time or not at all if you change the caching. This is a legal requirement in New Zealand when selling alcohol, so I have to get it to work this way

It`s possible to modify the plugin? When someone successfully verify age to be redirected to a link I want not on the site page. It would be great!

This is a nice plugin and I understand the need to have a pro version that generates income, but the amount of options that went pro-only when version 5 was released was huge. Almost every adjustment and setting are now pro-only compared to version 3 (that was the current version just a little more than a month ago).

So I just wanted to give a fair warnings to those still on version 3 and using any kind of configuration (like cookie expiration or button options). It was claimed that the settings would be preserved but locked when upgrading, but in my experience that was not always the case. I used the Full Page Light theme and that was reversed on upgrade to another theme (which can’t be changed without pro version).

On the latest version, the main/wrapping div of the popup has background-image: url(none); as a style if no background image is uploaded.

This gives a console error. Can this be changed to background-image: url(); or something else?

Does the free version have to be active for the pro version to work? As I have tried that and get “the Inactive options are available in the Premium Version of this plugin with an Active License.”

Hi, having trouble setting the popup for all the product pages.
Supposedly this a post type page, so switching all posts button does not work, putting the custom post slug name on the “CPT single pages” field doesn’t do nothing also, but if on the post ID field I put a product ID it works, but this will not be an option since I can’t put all product ID there as they are too many so too much work.

Do you have any idea to solve this?
Meanwhile going to take a look on all your plugin code to see if I can came out with something.

Hi. I’ve just found this plugin and it seems very useful and nice, but I’m not sure if it will be useful for us. After installing and activating it I can see an option to ‘Hide Popup for logged in users’. But, how could we show it ONLY to logged in users? Is there any combination of options to do that? Thanks.

(I know it could sound strange, and just the contrary of the common problem that this plugins tries to solve, but it has do to with the legal need of having confirmations for registered users due to the new European Union privacy regulations.)

Hi tested with adblocker ultimate and it blocks this popup. This is bad for any underage who are using adblocker extension visits adult sites.
