Hi, I am using an affiliate plugin for woo-commerce ( YITH WooCommerce Affiliates) which sets a cookie when a visitor arrives at the site.
If the visitor is arriving for the first time then I need to be able to check if they have accepted cookies before the cookie is written by the other plugin.
I tried to search for the information about your plugin but could not find the information I think I need.
I have a code sample on how to do that with the affiliate plugin but I don’t know what hook to use that allows me to check if the cookies have been accepted by your plugin.
So I would like to use code in my functions.php file something like:
if ( function_exists( ‘surbma-cookies-have-been-accepted’ ) && ! surbma_cookies_accepted() ) return false;
This approach would be used for any plugin that write cookies of course.
Hope that makes sense. Could you let me know how I can check if surbma cookies have been accepted?
Thanks
Tim
Thanks for a nice plugin! I wonder if I should add the GA tracking code (UA-11111111-1) both in the Surbma settings AND in the head tag of my website. Or should I only add it in the Surbma settings?
And a feature suggestion: It would be nice to be able to choose popup OR snack bar. I would prefer to only use the snack bar and add the “OK” and “No thanks” buttons directly in the snack bar, instead of using the popup.
]]>Hi, the default style (ie. css/styles-default.css
) contains UIkit classes (ie. uk-
prefix), but without a plugin-specific namespace. These rules can interfer with themes based on UIkit.
I suggest you to add a class or an id to plugin-related containers with the surbma-gpga-
prefix.
I want to know about, If visitor choose to decline, than the tracking codes (Google tag manager) are not load, if only customer allow then google tag manager work, please confirm this feature available on pro version or not(main about googe tag manager)

]]>Hello,
I’ve recently purchased the pro version of this plugin and I have a few questions on its functionality.
1: Is there a way to have a tab or something for the site visitors to change their mind on whether they want cookies to be tracked or not? On most other cookie popups, there is a small tab in the bottom corner of the site that you can click on that will bring the cookie accept or deny popup back.
2: Is there a way to change the color of the snackbar? Its a green link on a dark background, and the color of the site is blue, so the green doesn’t fit with the theme. Am I missing a setting or is there no way to edit this color?
Thanks for the support!
]]>Hi, I just updated to 16.7 and I have a dashboard notification asking me to delete the free version of the plugin:
IMPORTANT! Please delete the FREE version of the Surbma – GDPR Proof Cookies plugin!
Go to Plugins menu and search for the Surbma – GDPR Proof Cookies plugin. Delete the FREE version and you are done.
I only have the free version installed. Confused, please advise.
]]>Hi, how to connect your plugin with yandex metrica?
I did not find anything in the documentation, maybe you can help me do this?
How do I contact you regarding billing? I cancelled the subscription in the plugin and have since deactivated and deleted the plugin from my site. I just received notification that my card has been charged. Please advise.
]]>When the user agrees to tracking cookies, does the plugin drop a cookie which CAOS for Analytics can track so that it knows personalized cookies have been agreed to, and if so, does the cookie(s) have value(s), if so what value, and also, what are the cookie’s name(s)?
I was searching for the docs and in the forums but I am missing this information.
]]>Is this plug-in (supposed to be) compatible with WooCommerce?
I have the problem with the pop-up not displaying, and after deactivitaing all plug-ins and adding them back in one-by-one, it seems that WooCommerce is the plug-in that “breaks” Surbma GDPR.
]]>Hello, I am new to this plugin so I hope it is a small problem. I installed it, but there is no pop up triggered on my website when I load it. Maybe it is something in the settings or it is in the pro version?
Best regards
]]>Hi There,
Plugin stopped working, probabaly on the 5th Sep, or afterwards…
It does work when I’m trying to login to the WP back-end.
Thanks,

]]>Hi,
The pop-up doesn’t appear anymore. Was working fine till today (and I didn’t launch any update), so strange.
Thank you in advance for your help

]]>Hello,
I’ve tried the Surbma | GDPR Proof Cookie Consent & Notice Bar plugin and when uninstalled, I get the following error notices:
Notice: Undefined index: surbma-gdpr-proof-google-analytics/freemius in /mywebsite/wp-content/plugins/caldera-forms/includes/freemius/start.php on line 173
Notice: Trying to get property 'plugin_path' of non-object in /mywebsite/wp-content/plugins/caldera-forms/includes/freemius/start.php on line 178
Notice: Undefined index: surbma-gdpr-proof-google-analytics/freemius in /mywebsite/wp-content/plugins/caldera-forms/includes/freemius/start.php on line 256
I’ve tried replacing the mentionned files with the originals from a fresh install but that doesn’t change anything. Do you know why it’s happening?
I’ll post this message to the Caldera Forms support forum too.
Thanks for your help!
]]>Hello, it is bug or I have missed something? When I click, in popup window, Decline cookies, these cookies are also saved. Can you help me?
]]>Hello,
I installed this plugin and it worked yesterday.
I had to roll back a backup, install the plugin again but now the popup doesn’t appear.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
]]>Hi, I really like your plugin. I’m using it on anther site and it’s working great. However I’m trying to put it on my ecommerce site and it’s not working at all. Both sites are running the same theme, the only real difference is the woo commerce plugin. I’m not a developer, just trying to make sure I’m in compliance with the GDPR. I figured since it worked fine on the other site, it would be easy to install here, but that’s not happening. I will go pro with it on this site, but I can’t until I know that it’s going to work as it does on my other site. I appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks
Theresa
The dialog is appearing only in the mobile version of the site (created by WPtouch plugin).
]]>Hi,
I’ve purchased the premium version and installed it.
When I try to save options, it gives me a “ERROR: options page not found” WordPress error page and deactivates the plugin.
Please help

]]>The plugin blocks the Google Analytics cookies allright when choosing decline, but not fx Youtube cookies like GPS and PREF cookies. Is it possible to block these cookies as well somehow?
]]>First of all – thank you for developing this plugin. It looks promising.
I would like to know if it will be possible – as with Cookiebot – to make a automatic cookie scan and show the result somewhere using a short code or something? With Cookibot it shows all cookies on a page with descriptions for the most of them. This plugin only shows cookies in the backend, and one has to Google every single cookie and write a descritpon manually for every one and place them on a page manually.
Thx.
]]>I’m looking for a plugin to help me and so far the free version of yours looks like it will, but I need to know if it will support multi-site or not. If not, do you have recommendations for a decent cookie-handling GDPR plugin that will? Most seem to handle privacy policies better than they handle the cookie issue. I am not a PHP programmer, so I need something that works “out of the box”. I’m seeing complaints in various GDPR plugin support forums about the lack of deleting cookies when users click reject. So it appears your todo list is what I want.
]]>Hey,
Just installed your plugin, seems to be a good start and working well initially…
I have a few queries:
1. Is it possible to hook your plugin up with our own GTM account?
2. Do you plan to extend your plugin to have built in support for other analytical related WordPress plugins? If so, are we able to put any requests over to you? (We use Clicky Analytics as well as GA).
I will be reviewing the features in your pro version for potential upgrade.
Thanks in advance.
]]>Hi Surbma,
Thank you for your work.
It can be a nice feature to separately set the cookie policy text and page for each language.
Thanks!
]]>Hello,
after upgrading from 6.3 to 7.1, no more Pop Up showing ???
uninstalling and new install, no more result??
Where is the problem…
]]>Hi – do I have to disable all other GA plugins for the pop-up box to show up, allowing users to disable GA tracking? I currently have Analytics Cat enabled on the website.
]]>Hi Surbma,
At first, thank you for your work on this plugin!
It can be a nice feature in case of “Decline” delete all of the existing cookies (except surbma-gpga).
