Hi. Have translated all to Norwegian today. Dont think the validator?is active. I can do the validator?work if you want.

Hi Marcel,
This request is related to my post on Dec. 18, 2023 titled “Feature Request: Display past events?” How can I reverse-order the list so the most recent past events appear at the top? I tried adding order=”desc”, i.e. [super_simple_event_calendar season=”20″ status=”future,publish” order=”desc”], but it doesn’t work. What is the correct shortcode to use?
Thank you for your help and your great plugin!

Thanks for a wonderful plugin.
I would like to display the title text in the first column (not the published date), like the plugin used to be (before it was modified after the request of jensuwe12 (around 6 months ago). Is there a way of doing this with the shortcode?
Hi, i just installed the plugin and added some events but they are not showing on the web page where I have the short code in. The page says “No events found”.
Please advise.
Thank you for creating the Super Simple Event Calendar plugin! It works very well for our website. After reading the FAQs, I thought I might also be able to auto-post our past events by creating a “season” and assigning them to it, i.e. [super_simple_event_calendar season=”20″]. But it returns “No events found,” even though the “season” now contains four past events.
I’m currently adding past events to the page by hand. Is there a way to make them reappear and list them using the shortcode?
Thanks for your help! ??
Hi Marcel,
Voordelen:
– ook op een mobiel was (door de korte notatie) de kalender normaal zichtbaar;
We’ve just upgraded and noticed the day of the week now appears after the date on the front end (we’ve removed with code) – but could this be a toggle option (i..e yes /no if needed!)
Thanks ??
Is it possible to import events, for instance from a .csv file, or to create recurrent events?
Hi, first of all I think your plugin is very cool. It’s nice and tidy and I like it.
I am currently using a simple HTML table event calendar for a sports club. This works, but is difficult to edit because you regularly break the formatting and adding links doesn’t work so easily. That’s why I started looking for a good plugin. However, many event calendar plugins are very extensive or are too colorful, etc.
That’s why I really liked your plugin, but I’m missing a few functions and I wanted to ask if it’s possible for you to add these functions, since unfortunately I don’t have any developer experience myself.
I would like the following functions:
Thanks for reading, even if there are quite a few wishes. Thanks.
Dag Marcel,
Groet,
Rob (SC Santpoort)
Hi,
I use this great plugin in the right widget area to always display a list of current holidays.
For this, I have planned many days in advance and always display only the most current one with the shortcode [super_simple_event_calendar posts_per_page=”1″]
The dates are set to 11:59 pm. This works quite well so far.
Unfortunately, every few days it happens that the last appointment does not change from “planned” to “published” and instead “missed planning” is displayed in red in my overview.
The previous (wrong) event continues to appear on the website until I edit it and change it to “published” myself.
I don’t see that I do anything differently with the events than with those where it works properly.
Any ideas to fix the issue?`

I needed to create a Plugin for a simple upcoming prayer request reminder for a church website, and I based it on your work. But I’ve made some changes which might be useful for you – it’s all responsive in DIVs rather than tables, the Quick edit has been simplified, and there is a month view short-code using a responsive table.
The code is here: https://github.com/AlwynBarry/SimplePrayerDiary
I hope that you may find some of this helpful – thank you for making your code available via the GPLv2+ license so I could work from it.
Hello,
This plugin is exactly what I’m looking for. However, after installing and activating it, events created don’t appear at all on any page (I’m using the shortcode Gutenberg block). I’ve also tried with seasons and different shortcode options but there’s still no trace of the calendar.
I really can’t figure this out…
(I’m on WordPress 6.0)
Thanks for your assistance.
Kind regards,
Adrian
as I add [super_simple_event_calendar] I get and invalid JSON error message when updateing my page
as I check the response, there is a phrase “No future events found” before the json response
No future events found{"id":225,"date":"2022-06-02T12:52:16",
I commented
/*else {
// no posts found
esc_html_e( 'No future events found', 'super-simple-event-calendar' );
}*/
in ssec-shortcode.php to get rid of the error, yet nothing shows up on my page
then I go to “events” in the plugin settings, I add an event, I try to preview it, and I get
”
The page you are trying to reach does not exist, or has been moved. Please use the menus or the search box to find what you are looking for.
”
so I am done with this plugin
Hi – suggestion for a future release, limit number of items returned in the shortcode ??
First of all – thank you for great plugin!
In our site we found error “ajaxurl.indexOf is not a function”, when trying to add featured image. It prevented media library to open.
After some debugging I finally commented out /admin/class=simple-event-planner-admin.php lines 154 to 158
wp_localize_script(
$this->simple_event_planner . '-admin-scripts', 'ajaxurl', array(
'url' => admin_url('admin-ajax.php'),
)
);
And it fixed the error.
Maybe you can add quick check if page is using polylang in future versions?
Puike plugin door zijn eenvoud. Maar seizoenen zijn wel zo bruikbaar.
Heb 2 seizoenen gemaakt. shortcodes geplaatst op 2 pagina’s
[super_simple_event_calendar season=”56″]
Hi,
thanks for the simple plugin. It’s very much what I was looking for.
I have a music agency and would love to have a shortcode to list shows by each artist.
Is it possible?
I can use “season” as the artist name. Is there a way to have season specific shortcodes?
Thanks!

Just to let you know that I added Polish translation.

Hi!
I love the plugin!
As simple as I wanted it to be!
I would like to change the design to adapt it to the clients design, would it be possible to get the css classes?
Puike plugin.
Hello,
is it possible to include the content of the season in which the selected event is in the class tag?
The thought:
I would like to color the events per css differently in this way.
Thanks for help!
Hey Marcel, thanks for this plugin, it’s so simple that I love it. I got a few questions and maybe you can help me.
1. How can I edit or remove the orange styles applied to keep it simple?
2. Is there a way I could add an image to the widget? (not for the event, just to include a image related to my type of event)
3. It seems that every event by default create a page (mysite/ssec_event/myevent), how can I access to this page?
Many thanks man!

Hello Marcel
I have a problem with the plugin that the dates are not displayed correctly.
The next appointment is not shown first, but the last one entered.
Unfortunately I can not find a setting option.
Can do something there?
Is it possible to remove the “:” at the end of the first column?
Hi!
I really like this widget, exactly what I need.
But… ??
On my start page where I have the widget in a meny, I just want to show the text from the first column (still want all text on the calendar page). And I also want to get rid of the colons after the text in the first column.
Is it possible?
