First I had some issues with this plugin, it was messing up the archive and search pages in my theme, but I found the solutions (how to modify) quickly and easy in the github. Good job there!

Great plugin! Maybe Automattic will add something like this into Core someday?
The only critique I have is that in some cases other plugins do not play nice. For example, installing a total read time, it may inject between the main title and subtitle. That was an issue with just one of my client’s sites, and we resolved by doing a different solution to calculate and display read time.

This plugin just worked perfectly on my website, without changing anything to the coding.

I’ve built a theme that needed subtitles and this plugin did the job perfectly.
I also ran into what I thought was an issue with the subtitle not showing when single_post_title() was pulled outside of the loop, and Philip answered my issue on github really quick, helping me realize I was just missing the function that can be used for what I needed.

The Plugin and its Author both are AWESOME!
My theme had some aggressive coding preventing the plugin from displaying neither the title nor subtitle.
Philip solved the problem in 24 hours and this is plain awesome. I just he develops some more useful, and unthinkable plugins.
