Storefront loads incredibly fast, so I wanted to use it. But a very difficult theme to customize. I spent a whole day trying to find the hooks and template files to disable the Page Title. All to no avail.

Nice plugin to add custom banner messages in the top bar. Use one widget set to center alignment for a single message centered on your pages.

Works as promised and should be part of the “Storefront” theme by default.
I like that you can turn this top bar off on mobile displays.
Some more options for convenience would be nice like settings for margins, paddings, widths, borders …
