Hello,
On my client’s site, there are stores missing in the backend/admin when looking through in alphabetical order (or any order) and are only shown once the store is searched for.
I am not using any filters to sort, and am not sure how these locations have originally been added, I am guessing manually and would have been at least a few months ago.
Thanks!
I have noticed that in the store bubbles there is a glitch on how the information is listed out.
#slp_bubble_email is missing the link text, so you get:

and then #slp_bubble_phone + #slp_bubble_fax have been bundled together into a second mailto tag, and #slp_bubble_description, #slp_bubble_hours, #slp_bubble_img + #slp_tags as sat within #slp_bubble_fax so you get:

01234 567890

Hi There,
I have inherited a instance of SLP that is older than 5 years, maybe even 7 or 8 years old.
We’d like to clean up the data as the current xxxxx_slp_rep_query table is 17 GB’s. xxxxx_slp_rep_query_results is roughly 600 MB.
Does anybody have advice on how to clean up the data? The data that is in there is a combination of legacy data that should be erased and active data that are current stores.
Please let me know.
Thank You,
I think there is a bug in the search function, because it also give results if you enter a location name. I think the search function should only search in the postal codes and addresses from the locations.
Hello,
I contact you today by your support and forum but I repeat my need here.
1. When we make a search on our map, the results appear 2 sec and then the page make a refresh.
We make all the updates (plugins, theme and WordPress) : bug is still there.
We make all the updates of our : SLP, Experience and Power : bug is still there.
We deactivate ALL our plugins : bug is still there
We remove our theme and go back on the default WordPress theme : bug is still there.
To stop the refresh on the page by coding a prevent in javascript e.preventDefault(); and the refresh of the page is now correctly “forbidden”.
But now, we can see that if we put a name of a foundation and make a research the results are not correct. “Everything” is a results. In our javascript console we can see “defaultValue.trim is not a function”.
Can you correct that mistake or tell us what to do ?
Thanks for your quick answer.
Hi,

I reverted back to v5.5.2 and everything works fine, I can edit locations or add new locations.
Any idea from where could come the error?
Thanks a lot,
I just updated Store Locator Plus (Version 5.5.5) and it broke my search box on the homepage. If you go down to the bottom of the homepage, you’ll see “LOCATE A DEALER NEAR YOU”. The search box and button were under there without a map here. Users could enter their zip codes here, and it would show store locations, and a map of the locations on the main “Find a Dealer” page.
We are using Beaver Building. Any help getting this search box back and working correctly again would be much appreciated.
