I uploaded a bunch of media in a new site before I remembered to turn comments off. I installed and activated this plugin and voila – all media pages now have comments disabled. Thank you.

I don’t know if it ever worked, but a few weeks after install and activation, I logged into a client’s site and saw that there was still spam on media files.

This plugin may have worked earlier but I have it on several older themed sites and it has either stopped working or it didn’t work that well in the first place. It is a good idea but there are probably some exceptions that are blocking it from working on all sites.
