I tried this on my dev-blog and it didn’t record anything nor was it possible to delete it via the usual method because it hoisted 500 internal server errors each and every time. So I had to delete it manually.
To be sure, I tried it without any other plugins nor modifications.

Shame because it could have made a nice addition to my main blog. I’ve not looked at the code yet (not sure if it’s worth it, either).
