How does the podcast.xml file get updated?

It is not getting updated on our site.

I have the plugin turned off right now because of that.

Just wondering what I need to do to trigger updates on that file.

I am still using this plugin, but it filled my log with a deprecated warning.

I created a patched version and put it on https://github.com/webgilde/staticfeed-patched.

Happy to create a pull request for the plugin author or he can just take the fix and apply it to the version hosted here on wp.org.

Does this plugin still work for anything using WP 3.7.1 please let me know as we have around 100 podcast feeds and affects performance.

Hi there,
yesterday I had to do a test on my blog and I deactivated the plugin. After a few minutes I reactivated it, but since then my feeds don’t work.
The error feedvalidator gives me is XML parsing error: <unknown>:1:0: no element found
I tried to reupload all feeds files, but nothing changed.

The feeds are:

https://www.milannight.com/atom.xml
https://www.milannight.com/rss.xml
https://www.milannight.com/rdf.xml
https://www.milannight.com/rss2.xml

How can I solve the issue?

I would like to ask you if you think it is possible to extend this plugin to support static categories, authors and tags feeds.

I am willing to do it myself and give you the code to update the plugin if you like.
