This is an amazing plugin. It does not do much (it creates map images) but it does that pretty well. It’s very easy to add good looking map illustrations to my site, as article illustrations or even as header images. I use that for my travel blog, to add itineraries and overview maps for POIs. (Good thing: This plugin correctly places postal addresses to the map so I don’t have to do that myself. I used spreadsheets for that, great timesaver.)

I’ve used interactive maps before but they don’t load as fast as simple images, hurting my SEO rank.

I’ve just extensively tested this plug-in, and we decided to use it for several websites for the Camino de Santiago. It is free, it is easy to use, and it offers a huge flexibility. Well done.!
