I have been using this plugin for some time. Official AMP plugin gives error saying this plugin is not compatible with AMP. Pls help on how to get rid of this error

the plugin conflicts with paid membership paid which instead of creating the article preview by taking the lines from the article takes the starbox script, is it possible to resolve the conflict? or is it possible to disable starbox only for one category of articles? I tried many codes but they don’t work

I would like to add the author box to this central author page for Urban Building Solutions. Is there a way to make this happen on the Divi editor?

A recent update of the Starbox plugin is conflicting with the archive excerpts. We use the GeneratePress theme, but I checked with the Twenty Twenty-Four theme, and it’s the same.

Excerpts are not showing on archive pages when Starbox is enabled, but they show again when it is disabled. (We’re leaving it enabled for now, see page link for our archive page.) Please fix, as we love the Starbox plugin.

Since installing Starbox plugin, the plugin has been consistently throwing this error:

Hi there, I would love to get some help on an URL issue: when I first installed Starbox, my WP username was MGR_admin, so Starbox created my author page url by using this name. Whereas I managed to successfully change my User name into my real name “Moritz Grumbach”, starbox consistently uses MGR_admin for the author site. De-Installing and Re-installing the plugin did not bring any progress. Can you help? Thanks!

Hi there, I just tried out Starbox and love it because of its simplicity. However, I miss the option to change the color of the author name and “other article” listings (see picture). Have I overseen something? How can I adapt the colors to my theme style? Thanks in advance! Moritz

i was trying to set up a consent management plugin I purchased and I couldn’t see the settings page. During troubleshooting, when I deactivated all plugins and started activating them, the. Cookie plugin stopped working when I activated Starbox AND I got a WordPress notification that the plugin caused a fatal error and was deactivated. I activated it anyway to be sure it was causing the issue and it was. I actually had several issues I was just ignoring on my site that resolved when I deactivated Starbox.

Here’s the issue: I have over 1500 authors and since Starbox stores avatar images in the wp-content/uploads/gravatars folder—and even though the images showed in the profiles outside of the Starbox block—ever profile avatar is now gone, leaving my 2,500 posts without an avatar in the byline (displaying the generic shadow and question mark avatar). Could you be so kind, as I’ve been a loyal user for so long, and tell me the easiest way to now move those images to a place where they can be found again? Or do I have to go through the gravatar folder and re-upload all 2,500 images? ??

Still can’t delete this plugin without a ‘fatal error’ coming up want to get rid of it but can’t and I’m not computer savvy enough to delete via ftp how to I get rid of this thing?

after installing the plugin, I noticed on the mobile version that the photo block overlaps with the description text. I found a place to fix it, but I think it should be the default. I put 10px instead of 0 in line ‘margin:0!important;’

Why are words in the Starbox author box not even spaced out?

I’m using the Ambitio theme, and I can’t somehow seem to be able to activate Starbox. Even though I have it active for the main user, the Starbox author box doesn’t appear. I can still create a normal block element to show an author box, but I’d like Starbox a lot better.

Trying to get the starbox to indent a little to the right so it lines up with the page header. Any way to move that right or left?

Hello! I love Starbox, but I have a question. In the past, I was testing out a different author box plugin, but when I tried to switch, I noticed all of my author profile photos disappeared! I add their photos through Starbox, but then it also shows up in the user profile where you would upload a user profile without Starbox. So if anything would ever happen to the plugin or I couldn’t use it, is there anyway around losing all 1,560 author profile images? Of course I still have them on the computer, but don’t recall who is who anymore. I use an aggregator plugin to pull in rss feeds and the authors are imported automatically. I then go and complete the profile information and add their avatar.
I’m asking because I’ve noticed pup issues from time to time coming from the plugin so I want to be sure my site could function without it if necessary. Thanks!

Is there a way to hide the dates on recent posts? I have dates hidden on blog posts for the website in general but I can’t figure out how to hide them in the author box. I want the recent posts to show without the publish date. Is there a way I can do that? Or CSS I can add to the theme that would stop that from showing?

My client’s website uses Starbox. A few months ago, they started getting 403 errors when saving blog entries either in draft or publish. I was able to narrow down the conditions to the presence of HTML with a style property in the page content (so, like, “<span style=”display: block;”>test</span> – usually copied in from a word processor which I can’t seem to convince them is a bad idea).

Next, I went through the process of deactivating all the plugins and adding them one by one, and discovered that Starbox is the one that made the difference.

Is this by chance a known issue?

The author profile image is missing width and height attributes, causing CLS problem.

Please update the code base, and include width and height attributes on img elements.

Hello! Using Starbox Pro

I have two questions in one. I already added the CSS code I found in another user’s question about size and added it to my theme’s additional CSS. I changed 120px and 140px to 100 and 120, but..

1. Is there any way to have all author avatars display as small squares of a certain size?
   
2. Is it possible to have the square avatar display under post title instead of round? If not…
   
3. Can the avatars be perfectly round and same size for all authors? Some avatars display as very long ovals that overlap on top of text.
   
4. The link I included with the post shows the styling on a single post. The avatar was a long oval that covered the text but I just found an image that was more square-shaped and uploaded it. This option of my theme appears to center the content, so if there’s any CSS I can add to have the image appear beside the text in this instance, it would be GREATLY appreciated!
5. Finally (yes, I realize this is more than 2 posts.), When I’m adding or editing authors, I add all the author info directly into the Starbox area. I also upload avatars in the same place. I once deactivated Starbox to trouble shoot and all my author’s profile pics disappeared. So my question is, should I stop using Starbox to enter all of their information to avoid losing it all if I delete the plugin? I don’t plan to, but I don’t like feeling like a hostage. ??
6. So ?? where should I enter their position, company, bio information so that I don’t lose it, but the plugin still pulls it in to display in the author box?
