Is there already a solution for this?

[+] CVE-2023-41131
[+] WordPress Sp*tify Play Button for WordPress Plugin <= 2.10 is vulnerable to Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF)
Hey team,
I notice this plugin has not been updated for 4 months and it seems that there is an issue that is presenting a 404 Error (This page could not be found). I have checked the Spotify Link on your widget and the link works fine. It seems to be the widget that is causing this and it happens on all my posts.
Of course I tested without Caching too and the issue persists.
I feel this could be a conflict with the latest WordPress version, so please can you investigate and let me know your findings.
Thanks
]]>My page speed insights drop by 30 % if I use this plugin on a page/post. Any ideas? Is it just on my site?
]]>Hi Jonk,
Are you going to update the code of this fantastic plugin to be compatible with PHP 8.1?
I did test on my site and changing from 7.4 to 8.1 I got the following error on front-end (no back-end error reported and not errors on the error_log files as well)
upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers. reset reason: overflow
Thank you in advance and for your contribution with this plugin.
Cheers ??

Hello,
Is there a shortcode or option to add a volume adjustment bar?
Thank you!

I know that you can control YouTube videos with Javascript:

is there such a possibility for Spotify?
I want to put a very large PLAY button on top of a photo, I don’t want their default player, is it possible?
For podcast.

How do I make the playlists play for more than 30 seconds, make them play in full
]]>Hi!
I just installed the plugin and it seems to work great. However, when I click a song I get the error “This track is not available in your country”. It doesn’t matter which song I choose.
Any ideas?
Sincerely,
Magnus
]]>good morning,
Thanks for your plugin. I can simply insert the playlist I made on spotify but I would like it to automatically insert the cover of the playlist inside the featured image. Is this possible?

Thank you
a.
Is there any way to play the titles longer than 30sec?
Thanks!
Hello Johan.
I don’t know if it’s just my problem, however coverart embed doesn’t seem to work anymore. It shows only the list view. I tried override the setting however it’s still same. I blame Spotify for this more than your voluntary plug-in that worked great so far. If you know the solution, I would be really grateful. Otherwise I need to find other solution.
Thank you
Patrik
Hey,
I’ve used your plugin on my homepage successfully sharing my playlist in a text block.
I would like to use the same feature in the sidebar, the Spotify button doesn’t work in the editor so I wrote the code in myself and have checked the code multiple times to ensure it is correct, but it links to a invalid playlist rather than the following:
spotify:user:marlzie:playlist:3RnznJPz81aQBTy2ieFovI
This is the code I’ve written:
[spotifyplaybutton play=spotify:user:marlzie:playlist:3RnznJPz81aQBTy2ieFovI”]
Help!?
]]>Doesn’t work with new WP version, it shows error message.
Besides, “Open in Spotify” link does not have absolute path, so it leads to websitename/link instead of link itself.
]]>Hi,
The shortcode does work on a regular post or page type, but it doesn’t work in a custom post type… any idea?
Thanks
Hey there, I have two questions. How to put the playlist into a widget? How to customize the playlist to the songs you want?
thanks for your time!
