I’m very pleased with the Spiffy Calendar plugin! I’ve included the Upcoming Events list on the top of my home page. Because it has a dark picture as background, I want to change the color of the title and text of the events in a differtent color. How can I do that?

Hello, this seems to be already a topic from about 2 years ago. I am using the shortcode [spiffy-calendar] to display the full calendar. Using theme: AstraVersie: 4.7.3 Spiffy Calendar Versie 4.9.12. Problem still resists, or i missed the solution.

Hello, is it possible to change the vieuw from the calendar so the weekdays are at the left vertically instead of on top horizontally.

I would like to know if there are any plans or intentions for this plugin to become compatible with Polylang in the near future, so that it can be used on a multilingual website.

Hello. There should be a time validation on save single day event.

• 2024-06-02 15:00 – 2024-06-02 17:00 = OK
• 2024-06-02 15:00 – 2024-06-02 13:00 = FALSE

Also I think multi day event view in calendar is just wrong

2024-06-03 17:00 – 2024-06-04 13:00 is shown as:

2024-06-03 17:00 – 13:00 & 2024-06-04 17:00 – 13:00 which doesn’t make any sense, it shoud be:

2024-06-03 17:00 – 23:59 & 2024-06-04 00:00 – 13:00

i’ve implemented the [spiffy-minical] as shortcode block within a “Essential Blocks – Popup block”.
It generally works well, but when changing the month, the popup gets closed. After clicking the calendar button again the month is displayed correctly.
Is there a way to scroll months within the popup without closing it?

Spiffy, I just found your calendar and I really like how it’s clean and simple. The only thing that bothers me is that the events open in popups on hover instead of in their own pages. Can we reconfigure that so that the events and information show up in a page?

Also, is it possible using your shortcodes to write a list of the upcoming events and limit it to a number of events instead of limiting it to a number of days?

I’m not yet using your calendar, but I have some questions in order to decide if I should abandon my existing Google calendar integration:

Does your plugin set any cookies for my website visitors (if I would integrate it)? If yes: which ones and of which category (functional, marketing, etc.)?

I need this information to comply to the GDPR, and the google cookies are the reason I want to abandon Google calendar, because I have to block it until the user accepts marketing cookies.

In addition: Can I change the fonts (i.e to avoid Google fonts)?

ich habe das Spiffy Calender Plugin gestern auf die aktuelle Version 4.9.9 gehoben. Nach der Aktualisierung funktionieren die Seiten, die den Kalender verwenden nicht mehr. Nach Deaktivierung des Spiffy Plugins sind die Seiten wieder aufrufbar.

When I use the shortcode [spiffy-calendar] it shows the grid and if I click on List View it shows me a nice formatted List for that month. Is there anyway to just display that formatted List View without displaying the Grid View?

Shows wrong days for month. if 2023 december 6th must be Wednesday?but this shows as thursday likewise all the days are wrong for corresponding months

Great work on the plugin, I really appreciate it’s sleek and easy configuration!

I was wondering, if it can adapt the side-wide setting for the date format j. F Y also in the Upcoming Events – Columns. The span class .spiffy-column-date in particular shows the time span of an event in another format, like F j . The date in the .spiffy-title-meta is ok even though it’s also not the side-wide setting.

Can’t find a special setting for it or a parameter in the shortcode for another custom date format.

Is it possible to change it?

Hello – Running WP 6.2.2, Blocksy theme 1.8.94

Using this shortcode generated by the shortcode generator:

All events are showing full details, rather than truncated details with a “More Details >>” link. Is there a setting in the options that I’m missing, or is there something else I need to do to truncate the info shown in the columns style?

Need to set recurring event to Last Day of Month, ex. instead of 4th Sunday of the month, set to last Sunday of the month. This covers events that may be 4th Sunday of the month, unless there are 5 weeks / partial weeks then the event goes to the last Sunday of the month.

This is probably (hopefully) an easy fix. When people come to our calendar page, I’d like it to display in the columns view with photos. I tried changing the shortcode to [spiffy-upcoming-list style=”Columns” none_found=”Nothing is scheduled”] but that didn’t work. It’s not picking up on my test event, which is within 30 days of today. (I set up a separate page to test as well.) I also tried adding style=”Columns” to the [spiffy-calendar] shortcode, and that didn’t work, either. Please advise. Thanks!

I would like to insert 3 minicals in a page of a local rowing team, but only to show events in july, august and september. But minical always shows the current month.
Is it possible to add a parameter to the shortcode to show the desired month instead of the current one?
Something like this:
