When I turn the file back to 444 permissions and visit the Spider Blocker settings, the settings page of Spider Blocker gives me an error page and turns the plugin off.

It’s impossible to deactivate your plugin from MainWP’s dashboard. We tried different ways, we even submitted a ticket to MainWP. It’s unprecedented. We have no choice but to hire and pay someone to do it manually on the thousands of websites where we installed it, which represents a certain cost.

I am trying to use this Spider Blocker plugin with a new hosting company but when I try to activate the plugin I get this error message:

I have contacted their support desk and this was the response they gave me:
We are using litespeed webserver and Mod_rewrite supports fine with litespeed. I’m not sure about the plugin but you may need to check with plugin vendor if they have some setup for litespeed webserver
So am I out of luck with this hosting company?
Or is there something you can suggest since?

Your plugin block all bots even those from Google, Twitter, FB or other authorized crawlers ? Is it possible to block bots that are not listed by your plugin or create black and white list ?
