this plugin is awesome.
the last weeks where not so great, there are several spam entries in the signature list.
i would like to add recaptcha [ OR any othe similar functionality ] to the sumbit form. had problems with validation on ajax.php.
i insertet de google recaptcha frame, but i have problems with validation. for now the user can submit entry even if captcha is ignored [ unchecked ]
any ideas how to pass the post info for validation or ony othe methos of doing it.

For anyone who still want to use this plugin, I just used the plugin SpeakOut, from Host123, it is exactly the same, and it went very well. Super fast and painless.

]]>I have added a new feature to SpeakOut! the SpeakUp! replacement.
If you install SpeakOut! it includes an import tool to import all your petitions and signatures. It is non-destructive i.e. it doesn’t affect your existing petitions and signatures at all when importing.
I do suggest that after installing you deactivate the old speakup plugin to avoid confusion as they look very similar.

I’m experiencing this trouble with the SpeakUp petitions plugin. My petition has more than 13,000 signatures, and when I try to export them as a CSV file this error shows up:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/respetamife2016/public_html/wp-content/plugins/speakout/includes/csv.php on line 28
I’ve read many posts in different sites in order to solve it (changing lines in wp-config.php, default-constants.php, etc.) but none of these ideas has solved the problem.
Actually, when I try to change the wp_memory_limit from 40M to 64M in default-constants.php this is the error I get:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ” );’ (T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING) in /home/respetamife2016/public_html/wp-includes/default-constants.php on line 41
I think that my WordPress memory is 64M (I ran the test that this site suggests at the end) and the result is:
64M128M64M

I managed to get the form to display responsively in mobile.
However, on submitting the button in mobile, nothing happens in mobile… It looks like it’s going to do something (shows the animated progress dots) but nothing happens…
Can someone please advise? This is for a big project at work, and this was the only plugin I could find that does this functionality.

On got an important issue since i’ve updated my website to WP 4.4 :
Shortcodes to display petitions don’t work anymore.
For example, instead of to have my petition list displayed, i just got the shortcode displayed, but with changed quotes types : [emailpetition id= ?2″] (in my editor it is [emailpetition id=”2″]).
I managed several websites with this plugin, same issue and petitions list with hundreds of signatories.
How to fix that?
Do you have a quick hack? A functions to add?

I need to add a field with informations about “activity”.
I added a field to the table “dk_speakout_signatures” in my mysql database.
Unfortunately I have a bad knowledge of php. Can I have a suggestion on how I can add it to the application form of users ?

Thanks for your great plugin. I added some fields to it and now it’s completely compatible with my needs.
But I have a problem with displaying sign box in my page.
I created a page showing petitions’ title. I want to users be redirected to a page and view sign box that is related to the clicked title! I could pass petition id to the destination page but I couldn’t display sign box.
I used the bellow code but it didn’t work.

I have to export a csv with all people who signed. But that does not work.
The message I get when debugging is “Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_convert_encoding() in /home/prim-online.at/wp-content/plugins/speakup-email-petitions/includes/csv.php on line 107”
I and my customer are on a mac with Safari and using MS Office 2008 or 2011. But I tried it doesn’t work with Windows 7 too. I used IE, Chrome, Firefox.

Is it possible to send emails with “speakup!email petition” of type :HTML.
I have simple formating tags like ,<h1>,..,<h5>. These seem to die out when the email is received.
I have tried to send the email as an Html doc, but it arrives with all its tags in.
May be the Options in the PHP code Need the Attribute: contentType: html(something like that).

So I’ve linked to one of my petitions on our website but if someone is viewing the petition through their mobile device, the “Sign Now” button isn’t clickable. I tried to add the code through the Duda Mobile site, but still nothing. Can you please help?

SpeakUp lief wochenlang problemlos, jetzt ist die Liste “eingefroren” – bei etwas mehr als 10.000 UnterzeichnerInnen. Bei jeder weiteren Unterzeichnung erscheint nur noch “unbest?tigt” im Dashboard, eine Double Opt-In-Best?tigungsmail wird nicht mehr verschickt.
