I checked ‘Version 2’ in ‘Enable Google recaptcha’, but need to uncheck it. Clicking on it does nothing, there appears to be no way to uncheck it.

Also, for the version of recaptcha we’re using, you don’t need a ‘secret key’, should we just leave that blank?

Can we display a list of signers with this plugin? Ideally, with first name and first letter of last name, city and state, to keep them anonymous. Or, can there be an option for the signer to approve showing their name?

Speakout generates a fatal error when attempting to update:

I am trying out the free version. When new signatures are added, the public signature list and signature count do not update in real-time. In the past, I was able to force the list and count to update by editing the petition (e.g., type and then remove a space) and resave it, but this no longer seems to work.

I purchased the Pro version of the plugin, but it seems that it is causing the slowdown on the admin. It can takes 1min to display a page. There are no slowdowns when navigating the site on the front end.

It seems that it is not a cache error, I have purged all possible caches.
I use Elementor with the Hello theme.

What can I do to correct this problem?

I was trying to set my max_execution_time to 300, and I could not find where this setting of 180 was coming from. It was overriding everything I set.

I set the PHP server php.ini.

I set values in the .htaccess file.

I created local php.ini files.

I set values in the wp-config.php

I search the whole server except the plugin directory.

I did not think a plugin could override the wp-config.php.

Are you going to fix this?

Is there any way that I can remove the honorific field and just have first and last name?

The petition formatting stopped working. I am using Divi theme but everything was fine until i checked on it today

Hello, I started seeing this message today and now the dashboard area formatting is out of whack. I ran the usual drills for PHP version, theme and other plugin issues to no avail. Here is the new error message:

Error: Please correct the highlighted fields. It may be behind a closed tab

Is it possible to automatically send another e-mail to the signatory of the petition as soon as they have confirmed their signature via the confirmation link in the first e-mail?

This would make it possible to send the signatory a text template together with a selection of e-mail addresses of politicians to whom they can send an appeal.

Hello, the plugin has been running great for many years but recently started having an issue when verifying the sender via email. When the auto generated link is clicked in the email sent it is adding url4483 the front of the domain like https://url4483.domainname.com/ls/click?upn=.

Has anyone seen this before?

Another question: If a petition has already been signed with a certain e-mail address, the CSS class “dk-speakout-response-error” can be used to recognize that a person has participated in the petition after entering the e-mail address, by studying the page source text. Could this be switched off?

2) Instead of using hCaptcha or reCaptacha, would it be possible to create a field that must be filled in with a specific answer, without which the signature cannot be submitted?

How can I make apostrophes and speech marks / double quotes be displayed properly in my petition text? (They are show on the front end with a backslash before them.)

This page doesn’t seem to have any relevant markdown solution and I cannot find an HTML editor option in my SpeakOut! Settings page.

Looking forward to putting our petition into effect, but the default UI for the petition form looks very dated.

How is this addressed in the Pro version. Is there an option anywhere to leave out your CSS, so my petition form will automatically pick up the CSS from the rest of my site?

Since this morning (Nov 21 2021) the petition on my website has had formatting issues. The plugin settings on the WordPress dashboard also has formatting issues. Was this due to a Plugin update?

Note: I am using Divi themes, and reverted back to the previous version to see if that was the issue. I still got the same issue.

I can’t edit the content of the petition, when I try to save it says “Error: Correct the highlighted fields. It may be behind a closed tab” But all the highlighted fields are filled. I tested on 3 different sites including a new wordpress install. Can you help me? Thank you

It’s compatible with GP, but not with GP Premium. As soon as I activate the GP Premium plugin, the page loads blank, instead of with the petition form and other text/images on the page. I looked at the source code of the page and nothing is loaded into the content area of the post or page.

I’m testing the plugin locally, so no url available.

Hey there Speakout! Any ETA on when the issue with checking for the serial number for the pro version will be fixed? Right now, it’s still hanging up our Plugins page (making it wait on the server for a response), and this is a pain when we need to go troubleshoot something to do with another plugin.

I’ve worked with a lot of csv imports / exports, and this file doesn’t seem to import well at all into excel. I think it’s the custom message with return lines that are messing with the file. Any feedback or thoughts?

Second question, can I remove the thank you message so that after a person signs, the form is displayed again right away rather than the thank you message?
