Header tags for questions are H4. How can we change this to H3?

As of 2023, only PHP 8.x versions of PHP are supported, so please test with PHP 8.1, if you haven’t already, and reply to this post.

I can’t expand an FAQ if I’m not logged in.
But that’s only been the case for a while, generally the whole thing used to work.
An error message comes up, but it’s always there whether I’m logged in or not. I tested it in Chrome, Safari and Firefox, if I log in to the wordpress interface it works, otherwise not.

using the free plugin and since updating it’s change the order they appear.

just noticed its now bundled with a lot stuff I don’t use in the premium version. IS there a fix for this before looking else where? $149 seems a lot to change the order the FAQ display

Hi Team,

If we have n number of accordion then onclick of inner accordion in the middle the page. It stays on that particular point but the content is in middle of the clicked container.

Is there any possibility to make the clicked container to drag and move to the heading part of clicked accordion?

Hi,

I am still using the free version of the WP FAQ plugin.
I used the shortcut [sp_faq limit=”3″ category=”faq”], set a category and limit to three. I currently have five FAQs.
But only the same three FAQs are displayed.
Is there a possibility to display the FAQs randomly and not always the same ones? Maybe in the premium version?

Hi,

I am using the WP Responsive FAQ plugin. The FAQ plugin works perfectly, I am using the short code to display on my page.

But each of the FAQ has a permalink that gets into the Sitemap.xml but results in a 404 error.

Is there a way for the links to not be in sitemap.xml or display each faq in a page.

Here are some of my FAQ which gives 404 error.

I cant see how to use this plugin and make the results searchable? As the individual FAQs don’t open as standalone posts they wont open from search results, though they do show up as search previews, but clicking on them results in a “Nothing Found” – Not a good look.

Hi, the accordion system on the FAQ’s seems to have problem recently. I can’t see any scripts getting blocked in the console or anything. Have you any idea what might be causing it?

When you add a category and confirm the category is added but no message is shown that the category has been added and the page with the category list is not updated and this confuses because you do not understand if you have added the category.

I must manually refresh the page to see the categories in list.

Were any of the files on this plugin recently updated without a version number change? (I’m getting a WordFence notification that my files don’t match the server; the changes are fairly innocuous in most cases.)

The FAQ plugin works perfectly, using the short code to pull in items by category/the full FAQ.

The site search pulls up FAQ questions/answers, too, which is great. The links, however, goes to a permalink associated to the FAQs and results in a 404. Is there a way to turn on the individual question pages to avoid these errors? Otherwise, locating the answer via a search sends users to a dead-end.

Featured images are converted to tiny thumbnails – for example, a 500 x 212 images is now 128 x 54.

img tag class is “attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail wp-post-image”.

WordPress Media settings are all zeroed out, so I’m hoping for a solution from the plug-in devs.

Great plugin that installed with only some minor annoyances (pro version upselling was a little over-the-top), but other than the featured image issue, it works fine.

I cannot change the box outline, inner or text colour?

I see the .css file but it will not change?

I’m having 3 categories, with each 10 FAQ’s in it.

What I’m trying to reach is following:

• website.com/FAQ

• website.com/FAQ/Category1
• website.com/FAQ/Category2
• website.com/FAQ/Category2

On the first level, I only want to display the 3 category names, with under each category the top 5 FAQ’s of that category. Clicking on the category, or the question, will open the category-detail-page (and not the question detail page).

Is that possible to configure with this plugin?
I’ve been trying, but not able to accomplish it.

WP-FAQ v3.2.5

With the Builder theme (v 5.1.5), the FAQ’s do not show up – blank page. If I switch themes, they do. Disabling ALL other plugins does not help.

Any ideas or thoughts to help debug this?

Hi there – Plugin works great but we want to link to specific questions, either in the page or on their own. There is a permalink on each FAQ entry but it doesn’t allow the FAQ entry to be served from there – how do we configure it so we can include these permalinks to the entries?
