This plugin is exactly what I needed since I need to build a ton of different social links for different pages! Thank you!
Only issue is having the option to use social icons instead of text. Creating a text link is so easy that no one really needs to use a plugin. I want to create an easy way for my clients to show social icons for their individual profile.
Are there any updates to having an option to show icons and to allow the link to open a new page instead of the parent page?
Thanks!

Is this plugin still active for the latest version of WordPress?
I’m having trouble using images instead of the text link. The images are coming out blank.
]]>Hi, I’m interested in adding the social media short codes to a form so that the users can simply put in their name while filling it and in the output, get an icon that links directly back to their profile.
I figure this would require some creative use of the add_action
and copying the function from the php file in this plugin to the form but for some reason this doesn’t work.
Any ideas?
NB: the form is for creating a custom post type called locations to let users upload locations to a map on the website.
