Finally, my entire WP dashboard is now officially my new happy place (It is not to be used as a full on Yoast advertising platform)
Together with some tweaks to the functions.php file and this plugin, I can now get on with my work with little to no annoying distractions.
While plugin authors have every right to advertise their premium features and to earn a living, Yoast has taken things to a new level of utter obnoxiousness and has forced our hands.
Like I say, a classic example of the beauty of open source.

Easy to use and clearly says what it blocks. Which is all the annoying stuff free Yoast pushes to the dashboard. Very handy when my non-techy customers are updating their website content themselves, and especially with Woocommerce products. Now Yoast doesn’t complain about missing traffic if they remove a product that’s no longer available and thus they’re not confused and worried about something that really doesn’t matter to them.

Great plugin, hides a lot of the annoying nonsense Yoast has slowly slowly turned into.
The core of Yoast is still great, but constant pushing and lack of settings for turning its feature bloat off is really annoying. This plugin fixes this.
