]]>I have Yoast, and the Hide plugin on 5 sites. However, on just 1 of the sites, the ‘Settings’ option in the left menu column of Yoast is missing, and instead, ‘Workouts(Premium)’ is showing. In order to access any settings in Yoast on this 1 site I have to disable the Hide plugin. The other 4 sites all things that need to be hidden and shown are as desired.
To access the settings of the Hide plugin I have to go to the Plugins page as the Hide plugin seems to be hiding it’s own settings option from the left Yoast menu.

I was confused when I was on mobile, where the link IS visible. but on desktop it has css overridden with a ‘display: none’;
Yoast SEO version 20 was just released and they have changed the dashboard completely.
It will take a while for me to play catch-up, so please bear with me and keep that in mind when asking for support.

I particularly hate Yoast for its excesses, but some customers find it difficult to try other lighter and better plugins.
I installed this plugin for the first time and noticed that two instructive items still keep showing up:
- Last submenu “Premium” (wpseo_licenses)
- “Premium SEO Analysis Tab” in post edit/new
I imagine that with each update they must change some hooks to remain “always intrusive”.

]]>Yoast is now focusing on plugin spam now… In Woocommerce under “Add Products/Edit Products” this is now being injected right above the publish button.

Any plans to support / remove yoast spam in Woocommerce, I imagine if they have started doing this in woocommerce we are going to start seeing it in all other popular plugins. Honestly this should be against wordpress developement standards.

Many Yoast blocks still work without inserting them in the Gutenberg editor. I use Yoast Premium and Table of Content block is generating ID for heading without inserting it.
I hope you can disable all Yoast blocks functions.

]]>There have been reports of a Fatal Error occurring after updating to WP 5.5.
I have tested the plugin on the WP 5.5 Release Candidates and everything works, so there must be another variable in play that causes the issue.

]]>Just updated to WP 5.5, got error. enabled debug, showed up this plugin causing errors.
Disabled plugin, and got back into wp-admin side. Normal site worked.

Post/Page/Taxonomy Deletion Premium Ad – Hides Post Deletion Premium Ad in edit Post/Page/Taxonomy screens
AND
Hide Ad after trashing content When deleting content (Post, Page, Product and other Custom Post Type) a new notice appears on the edit screen that is an upsell ad for the premium version of Yoast SEO. This setting hides that notice
but I can see an Ad when I delete a product category
Please review and guide for a fix.

Just observed something which is non-critical.
While editing a page, when Yoast SEO metabox starts you see
After installing Hide SEO Bloat, the icons are missing for SEO & Readability
While this is not critical, it looks a bit “off” ??
Please let me know if this can be fixed using some setting OR do you need to change something in the plugin.

]]>The Hide SEO Bloat plugin prevents all the other optimizations (like cache busting, minification, and the insertion of the CPCSS) in WP Rocket from working — so I had to deactivate it.
Most likely, it’s using certain output buffer functions, which interfere with WP Rocket’s ability to generate its own buffer.

Other UX/UI improvements:
Display with a print what is removed to easier show to the user what each setting is targeting. Not always crystal clear for all. Save and check and look around and hide something that the user does want to keep is likely to happen for newer Yoast or WordPress users.
Currently if we hide Admin columns the column boxes still shows up screen options settings.

]]>If I enable the “Go Premium metabox” option, it makes the entire snippet preview box blank (ie. no view or edit possible).
I don’t really need this fixed–I’ve just unchecked that option. Just reporting it in case someone else runs into this issue.
