After installing the plugin and visiting the settings page, I received this error:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function GuzzleHttp_idn_uri_convert()
After some digging and troubleshooting, I was able to figure out a simple composer update in the plugin folder fixes the issue.
I’ve submitted a pull requests to the dependent library, phpSmug to update the guzzle dependency to 6.5.5.
I thought it would be helpful to mention here in case others run into the same issue.
noticed some 404s to a missing library for Flexslider in this plugin. It looks like there is a custom javascript file for SME in addition to Flexslider files that are referenced
I’m getting this error when I try to activate the latest version of Smugmug:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare myStartSession() (previously declared in wp-content/plugins/wp-ultimate-csv-importer/index.php:61) in wp-content/plugins/smugmug-embed/SmugMugEmbed.php on line 37
There are many WP_DEBUG messages with WP 4.0.1…
After authorizing and saving all settings as the defaults, I saw these messages:
Notice: Undefined index: availableGalleries in /wp-content/plugins/smugmug-embed/includes/SmugMugEmbedSettings.php on line 32
Notice: Undefined index: availableSizes in /wp-content/plugins/smugmug-embed/includes/SmugMugEmbedSettings.php on line 33
Notice: Undefined index: availableClickResponses in /wp-content/plugins/smugmug-embed/includes/SmugMugEmbedSettings.php on line 34
I saw these same notices in the “Embed from SmugMug” media insert area from the post editor.
The caption field was also filled with this text:
Notice: Undefined variable: SME_owner in /wp-content/plugins/smugmug-embed/includes/SME-smugmugembed_shortcode.php on line 93
Screenshot: https://cl.ly/image/0X0m063i3b0V
I WAS able to insert an image at this time.
Then I went back to SME settings to be able to choose link-to and image-size options. After setting those (another WP_DEBUG message), the SME media insert would not work. Messages:
Notice: Undefined index: newWindow in /wp-content/plugins/smugmug-embed/includes/SME-smugmugembed_shortcode.php on line 235
Warning: getimagesize(https://media.tourkick.com/Tours/MLS-1020111-Tradition-10616-S/i-7Sj69Rk/1/S/DSC01064-S.jpg): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found in /wp-content/plugins/smugmug-embed/includes/SME-smugmugembed_shortcode.php on line 276
Notice: Undefined variable: out in /wp-content/plugins/smugmug-embed/includes/SME-smugmugembed_shortcode.php on line 307
Additionally, SME only displays images, not videos. If you select something you know is a video, it’ll really only display the video thumbnail image on the page.
It would be great if this plug-in was a one-stop-shop. I want to be able to insert individual images, but also galleries. This plugin could easily generate the code to show the gallery. Just generate the same as SmugMug’s share->”show off”.
There are options to set the default size, but not alignment. I always insert pictures centered. It would be great to be able to change this in the settings. I have a patch to do this if you are interested.
Currently when I insert an image into the post, the next time I go to add media, the images are still selected. These should be cleared.
Feature request to set a featured image from SmugMug gallery.
The gallery list on a post does not seem to update as things change on the SmugMug side. In other words, if I add or delete a gallery, it is not reflected in the dropdown list. Also, if I add a photo to a Smugmug gallery, it doesn’t show up as available. Is there a way to refresh the connection between WP and SM?
This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for since I post hundreds of photos embedded from my Smugmug site a week to my WP blog. My question is this: How come there is no option to embed the sized larger than “Large”? What about the XL, X2, X3 sizes? I like to use the larger sizes so that my images are more prominent on the screen, and that is the only issue I’m having with this app thus far. Please let me know if there is a quick fix!
Thanks,
Theo
