This plug in works like a charm and the support is great.
affordable sms’s sent out to client via the orders we get so instead of customers maybe getting an email (should their mail block yours) then they get a sms which is great especially on EFT orders with the detail sent and notificed when orders complete.

Don’t Purchase the sms alert service. They cheated me. The disabled my account because of raising a dispute against them.
I registered on their smsslert.co.in website. On the way i called their customer care phone number many times for many complaints. But they didn’t attend my call. Now they are saying that i raised a dispute against them they will not activate my account until i explain the reason of that. I already told that “I called you many times for many complaints. But you didn’t attend my call”. For that the replayed that your are lying. I am gong through the legal process of court.

Asked for refund because I accidentally paid twice. They ask me for my id or driving license. Make no sense why. For me it’s a violation of privacy and I don’t want that. They don’t want to refund and if I don’t send my id they say that I can’t use their service if this is the case. I emailed them from my registered email + I sent them my paypal confirmation screenshot. Don’t understand why they need my id. It’s a scam for me.

The Textlocal plugin was not working and I was searching for alternatives and stumbled upon this. I initially didn’t believe the ratings for this plugin. But after taking it for a spin, I was amazed at its endless possibilities.
This is one heck of a plugin. It has some crazy conversions features.

SMS alert Support is Extremely professional and timely
We are so glad to thanks SMS alert backend support. we were using a separate plugin to send tracking details to the customer through SMS alert, we thought, it can be done directly with SMS alert. So we propose this to SMS support, they immediately responded to our Queries, added a PHP coding, now we can able to send SMS with a courier tracking AWB number and hyperlink.
It is very helpful and working perfectly.
They were extremely flexible and willing to support Customer requirements.

In this Plugin, You’ll find that SMS services not available at many countries ! !
Plugin Developer not entitled COUNTRY list where they serve SMS service. So initially, you’ll feel in great trouble whether your Country Eligible or Not ! !
Please hang a Country list or promote for all Countries to get service!
Overall, functionality looks well . . but unfortunately I cant implement in my own Woo Store since SMS service not available in my Country !

Sorry to say. I had a bad experience. I installed and activiated the plugin based on a link in a YouTube video. Thought it worked fine. But I noticed that since afternoon (about the time I installed the plugin) I have not been receiving orders. When I went to the customer view I noticed that the customer is being asked to verify their number and when they enter their number it says “sorry you do not have any credits”. I dont have to tell you how disappointed and frustrated I was. Also the video who referred this to me (where I’m going to post this comment) didnt mention anything about costs. I was not even able to test the software. Really this is disappointing.

The plugin seems to be working great. I love the fact I can track each text sent for its status. The costs per text are more than Twilio but if you include the number you have to pay for each month with Twilio, this service is cheaper.

This plugin has several features that are comparatively better than any premium plugins. The only downside of it is that you have to use their gateway only for all transactions but honestly, it is not a bad deal. Also certain DND numbers are blocked by their gateway Airtel, which means the plugin will not send SMS/OTP. Still it is recommended for all users.
