Sorry ! This is the third time that updating your plugin has deleted keywords from my product pages, descriptions and titles. Fortunately I have less than 30 products, otherwise it’s a disaster. For several years my WP site has been running with the Spa & Salon theme. I deactivate and switch to another plugin.

As the name suggests, Smartcrawl does its job. After I activated the plugin ,my website was able to rank more than a plugin I had used. Smartcrawl doesn’t slow a website, instead, it makes it more performance.

Seems very good, after several months no problems as such with it as far as I can tell. I often find with plugins from this developer that some of the useful features are a bit limited (for example in the image optimization plug-in, charging you extra for premium to create WebP images on your own VPS server). There is a useful option for this plug-in to add redirects without having to jump into CPanel or Cloudflare, but there is no way to re-order them once you have added them (which I have suggested). You can only delete them and start again to get them in the correct order necessary for them to work. The redirect regexp in the advanced section I couldn’t get working, despite a correctly working expression tested on the regex 101 website.

I’ve tried AIOSEO and now SmartCrawl on 3 sites. Google has listed all the images, categories etc as 400 pages but none of my main pages are showing despite scores 80-95%. Now added pages manually in URL inspection hoping to clear this mess as have 0 hits in 3 months on 3 sites.

I am in the process of constructing a new web site. Having checked many SEO packages I chose Smartcrawl which has everything that competitor plugins have, if not more in most cases.
The interfaces are clean and functional. What I value most is not having constant reminders that I have not upgraded to the pro version, as so many other plugins do. Once the website is fully functional and working I may just do that.

it changed my meta descriptions on all pages and it created site maps that included a link to my wp login ,word press uploads,these are things dont belong in a site map.So i guess it copies any urls it spots in word press and just automatically puts them in a site map.I dont know how long those were up before I found them . I was able to remove those and the 404 error pages it put in the site maPS but I dont know how to go through and change all my pages descriptions back the way I had them.I don’t know when I’ll even have the time. I just wish I had known this was going to happen so I could have just avoided this plug in . Now i dont know what will happen to my pages if I uninstall it like I want to do. This is a disaster for me.Funny part is how it now shows my seo is poor because my focus keywords are not on the pages. Hmmmm. They used to be until this plug in changed it all.

We know WPMU DEV for quite a while and they have been developing great plugins and a beautiful hosting platform. They are all about style.
What we love about this SmartCrawl SEO plugin, if we compare it to Yoast SEO (also a great SEO plugin) is the fact that it does not come along with tons of bloatware. If you look into the WordPress plugins repositorium, you will find another plugin made exclusively as an addon to Yoast SEO plugin in order to remove all the screen messages and popups being thrown into our faces, all the time, which is ridiculous for sure.
WPMU DEV made an excellent plugin, stylish as usual and managed to keep things simple. There is plenty of room for improvement and if sometimes a little bug is found, well… that happens to the best programmers in the World.
KISS is an acronym for “Keep It Simple, Stupid”. Keep it simple, almost in a stupid way! Cheers!

I set a default meta description for buddypress profiles but when I viewed the profile page source, no meta description tag was found. Bing also indicated an issue with missing meta description tag.
I am also using Youzify in case you want to replicate the issue.

About 10 months have passed since I started working with this unique plugin, and as time passes, my interest in updating and creating a new post on my site and SEO of that post increases.
The speed of indexing new links has also increased a lot, in addition, the overall SEO of my site has improved a lot compared to before.
