I have to say that after being a long term user of Searchanise, for which we use on 10 sites now, we never have that many issues at all, i recently had a question “not a problem” and reached out to there support once again, in 48 hours i have the solution and solved my query.

I was looking for an ajax powered search plugin for a woocommerce store and came across this. It’s so powerful and displays the results in a great way. It also provides a product category listing page that replaces the existing one, with smart filters that are dynamically created based on the products attributes.
We had an issue with indexing 300k products, and support helped us with the issue, despite later realising the issue was with server settings and not their plugin.

This plugin is so fast and offers such a good UI that I have adopted the search results page as our main shop page. I wanted some customisation so I upgraded our plan and the support has been amazing. I have had 3 customisations already!

I couldn’t be happier. We were using another similar search service but they increased prices to the point of being unjustifiable for search with a relatively small product catalog. We were able to get this up and running quickly including being able to tweak it to our liking.
This solution is FAST and I really like the presentation and user experience. We looked at other options and I only found one other that seemed to have similar speed and not outrageous pricing for our size, but it was not as good in user experience and would require a lot more work to get configured the way we want.
I ran into a small issue for which we are probably very much an edge case. I submitted it to support and they took it to the developers. I had already done some work to solve it and submitted a patch. The developers were very gracious to look at what I had done and incorporate the fixes into the main code base. I don’t know if they used any of what I sent or not, but it doesn’t matter, it was their receptivity, cooperation and desire to just fix things to cover our use case. Very rare these days that I get that kind of reception from plugin authors. They would have fixed it if I did nothing, but they handled it above and beyond expectations.

The search option is good but the plug-in is too chunky. It slows everything down. According to query monitor there are many duplicate requests and it is the plug-in that slows the entire website down.

Great support from the team, relatively quickly less than 12 hrs to answer. Super fast and a great tool for making your search “faster” than normal WP Search or SearchWP, etc. The only thing that will be cool it’s to make it more customizable and integrated into your normal WooCommerce flow on the archive.php file.
But even with these limits, it’s a really great tool!

Setup was literally one click, and everything was up and running, serving very well-designed instant search results. The full search results for products have filters, which are better and more user friendly than dedicated filter plugins, which you need to pay a lot for and spend hours to set up, if you are lucky and know how to do it.
Even though this plugin works great right after that one-click-setup, you have tons of options to change its look and functionality if you would need to.

This plugin in not compatible with Woocommerce’s HPOS and is useless in Woocommerce’s version 8.2 or higher. I have tried to work with them for over three months in getting to them to update it and nothing. They keep saying that they are working on it.

I have used Searchandise for the past year and we have a headless setup between Big Commerce and WordPress. Most search companies flat-out refuse to even look at our setup and say they can’t help or are interested. Over the past year we have had 2x major issues due to our headless setup (nothing to do with Searchandise) and both times Searchandise have listened and come back with a solution. I generally thought everytime I emailed they would just be like every other company and say we can’t help but not the case at all. I really can’t stress enough if you are looking for a reliable search partner at a good price Searchandise is the way to go.

I have recently added Searchanise to our site due to the low cost and the great features. It was easily installed and configured but I wanted to customise it further and I couldn’t achieve exactly what I wanted with my limited knowledge of CSS. I contacted their support team and was connected with Kseniia. Kseniia was amazing – answered my queries quickly and instantly applied snippets of CSS to our plugin to get the look exactly how we wanted.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Searchanise.

Before purchasing Searchanise, I tested 3 other free search plugins recommended in internet. They were more or less similar, and I was somehow not happy with any of them. Then, I purchased Searchanise. To my surprise, it is much faster than any of the other previously tested plugins, and the layout/content of the search results more appearing. The customer support is very responsive. Within 24h I always got a reply to my issue/question. I can only recommend trying out this plugin.

The adjustment of colors is a bit opaque and poorly labeled. Plugin works fine. Unfortunately, the free version can only be used for 14 days and will then be blocked. It wasn’t described in the description and that’s why I give only a few stars. It took me time to customize the plugin. it was all for nothing. But that’s probably the intent to get people to buy. The monthly price is way too high!. With a one-off payment, I might have thought twice about it!
