I am custom theme and plugin developer. I developed a bunch of blocks for site in question and one of my dynamic blocks which uses counter increased on rendering to give id to blocks and later trigger actions in javascript to this same id. I spotted that block is not working when your plugin is active. Query monitor plugin also gives 12 duplicating queries when your plugin is active with typical increase in loading site of 150 ms. Now, I could fix the issue with giving unique ID-s and not relying on the counter, which is a bit more complicated, but issue still remains, why blocks are rendered twice? Is that necessary? I consider it a bug, can this be resolved?

In Slim SEO > Redirection > 404 Logs, the pagination displays vertically (visual display issue), and clicking page 2 (or any other page), loads a page with no 404s, so I can only see the 404s on page 1.

Reiterating, I’m using WP solely as a CMS for static pages. There are no blogs.
The site isn’t live as yet, so I’m unable to provide a working URL example. When I try to add the “title” and “description” on Slim SEO “Meta Tags” settings page (Homepage), it does not work.
Instead, the following message is given:
You have a page Home that is set as the homepage.
To set the meta tags for the page, please set on the edit page.
I click the link contained in the following txt above… “please set on the edit page.”
This url takes me to the home page Gutenberg Editor, but there is no section to add the “homepage title” and the “homepage description”.
How do I add this meta data to my static pages?

]]>When I activate the Slim SEO plugin, it re-orders the latest blog post block on my home page. It should be ordered by newest post first but when I activate Slim SEO the 6 posts that were showing change.
For example, the first post that shows should be about ‘tours in Gozo’. I updated the post and republished with a published date of yesterday (3 November). However, when I activate Slim SEO it changes the first latest post to the one published on 10 October, about ‘best view of Kotor’.
What’s even stranger is that when I edit the homepage (a static page) in WordPress, it shows the correct posts but when I then preview the page it shows a different set of 6 posts (and those are the ones that show on live).
When I deactivate the plugin it goes back to how it should be on the live site homepage, showing for example the Gozo tours as the first latest post, and when I reactivate it, I get the same issue. For info, I’m using Kadence theme and replaced Yoast SEO (deactivated but not yet deleted in case I have to revert back) with Slim SEO.
Do you know why this is happening and how I can fix it? As I’m very impressed with the improved speed from replacing my old SEO plugin, so I’m keen to get this sorted if possible. Many thanks.

We use the Woocommerce product import functionality to add new products and to update existing products. With our current SEO plugin, the said data is available as meta data when exporting product data as a csv. However, with Slim SEO, there seems to be no such meta data in the export? Please advise.

only shows how to exclude post types. But what if we want to exclude an specific post id or an array of post IDs?
In this case I don’t want it to be set to noindex as that fixes the problem, but I want to keep it indexed but removed from sitemap. How can we archive that? I’ve tried without success.
I’m loving the Slim SEO plugin so far and I decided to invest extra money into the Link Manager plugin the other day.
While the Link Manager has been able to scan all of my links, I only get blank pages every time I tried to look up individual link statuses (like 402 etc.).
Any help with this issue will be appreciated.

After updating from 3.25.3 to 4.0.1, YITH paid plugin ‘YITH WooCommerce Customize My Account Page Premium’ no longer displays within the woocommerce My Account page.
As it is a paid plugin you may not be able to verify this.
It was working fine with slimseo 3.25.3.
Conflicts with other plugins have not been verified at this stage, but first of all, this is happening.
I tried to roll back to 3.25.3, but I am waiting with slimseo stopped to see if this can be resolved soon.
If I delete the slimeseo 4.0.1 plugin once and upload the old version, will the settings remain?

]]>After updating to Slim SEO 4.0 Bricks Builder slider and accordion stop working and rendering as expected.
Disabling Meta Title and Description fixes the issue. It is clear from the amount of bugs we’ve experienced that the new Dynamic Meta Data feature was not ready for production.
Please provide a hotfix or a way to roll back to previous versions.

]]>After updating to V4, my Pro Slider stopped showing. Just a blank space. The developer investigated it and came to this conclusion:
The feature in the settings called ‘Meta title’ in the features tab. if enabled, for some reason that setting moves the Bricks script so the ‘bricksIsFrontend=true’ that should happen so we know we’re on the front end, doesn’t run where it should, the end result is that the other scripts that rely on that (like some of our elements) won’t run as it doesn’t know we’re on the front end.

After the upgrade to 4.0.0, the ability to choose link attributes like ugc and sponsored have gone.
Also at the bottom of the post page, instead of completing variable names, the variables are displayed. Like:
Meta title: {{ post.title }} {{ page }} {{ sep }} {{ site.title }}
Meta Description: {{ post.auto_description }}

]]>I have just tested the update to 4.0 on 3 sites. 2 with WooCommerce and 1 without. When I set anything to hide from search the entire page skews and shows every option insted of letting me go to each post type or taxonomy to make my settings.
]]>It turns out that the WooCommerce Kadence ShopKit Cart Banner is conflicting with SlimSEO. Once the plugin is disabled the cart banner works as expected. The issue is that the cart banner is showing up 4 times on the Cart page instead of just once. (Two banners are showing up above the header and one cart banner is showing below the footer.)

And it looks like that the Slim SEO will redirect WordPress author pages to the homepage once being activated. How can I disable this option – I have numerous authors and need to show the author pages.

So I replace {{ schemas.organization }} with {{ schemas.person }} in the settings for website, webpage and article. I have deleted the template for the organization schema.
If I then validate the schema, the organization schema still appears. How can I correct this?
