Dear all,
It appears the plugin is no longer compatible with the current version of WP. Is there a plan to update the plugin or is it over now.
Or, maybe, someone has a workaround? At the moment the plugin causes a crash when the option plugins in the dashboard is chosen.
Thanks in advance,
Ger
]]>Good morning, adding a custom style through the custom style tab is not possible because I don’t see that tab. What could be the problem?
I only want to center the slideshow with the following code but through a normal css adjustment it does not work.
.slideshow_container_style-light .slideshow_container {
margin: 0 auto!important; /* This centers the slideshow, if the slideshow has a maximum width. */
}
Thanks!
]]>With an existing slideshow “imported” from the old slideshow plugin, I try changing the “Pause slideshow when mouse hovers over” option from Yes to No. I click Update. The page refreshes… and the setting is unchanged. Same for a couple of others.
Expected behaviour: settings should be changeable!
]]>I changed for this plugin because of excessive error messages, but unfortunately this one does not appear to be flawless either:
Only variables should be passed by reference in /var/www/domains/gerkoper.nl/subdomains/blog/wp-content/plugins/slideshow-reloaded/views/SlideshowReloadedSlideshowSlide/frontend_attachment.php on line 108
Did I do something wrong?
Thanks in advance for the help,
Ger
]]>When removing the plugin it does not remove all the data from database. You have to delete all slideshows manually prior to uninstall. Since it seems to be saved in wp_posts I can’t find abandoned tables and remove orphaned data using popular tools.
This would be especially annoying in wordpress-multisite environment, where you would have to manually delete all slideshows on all subsites?
So it would be nice to either have an option to allow the admin to delete all data on uninstall of plugin or use a separate table.
Other than that: Thanks for this nice and simple plugin, I think I am going to use it (was just testing behaviour when uninstalling). I hope you keep updating it, unlike the original one.
]]>I have used the previous version of this plugin by StefanBoonstra on several pages. I am interested in replacing the outdated plugin with your version, slideshow reloaded. However, I would prefer to avoid the labor of re-creating the slideshows. Is there a way to load existing slideshows into your plugin?
The current version of WordPress will not allow me to see existing slideshow plugin content in the creation segment. When I click on Slideshows in the side menu, the plugin deactivates. So to re-create the shows, I cannot see previous content. Help!
]]>Hello,
thanks for your work!
I am using Slidehsow from years and it works perfectly.
I would like to know if it is possibile to Upgrade old “Slideshow” to “Slideshow Reloaded”
I would use my old slideshows created with old “Slideshow” in “Slideshow Reloaded”
Is this possible ?
Thanks for your help.
]]>Uninstalled the original version of slideshow. Installed the newer “reloaded” version. I am now getting an error on both the slideshow “add new” page and the live site if I add a slideshow:
Warning: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas08_data03/61/2749361/html/wp-content/plugins/slideshow-reloaded/includes/SlideshowReloadedSlideshowSettingsHandler.php on line 486
The slideshows work, but it shows the above error message above the slideshow on the live website, which obviously is no good, lol.
I deleted all my previous made slideshows from the original version as well. Im good with a clean install and making new slideshows. I also have no problem editing any of my install files. Any suggestions?
