When I click on slide it opens the image itself instead of going to url I specified in the slide, I checked the console and found the following:

I have free version Huge IT Slider 4.0.6. The images are now showing up stretched. I am on automatic wordpress updates so perhaps there has been an incompatible update? How can I fix this?

Is there a way to get the img alt onto the slider images without having it be visibly rendered anywhere? I have manually entered alternate text for each slider image when uploading, but that doesn’t seem to carry over. If I enter something for “Title” or “Description” inside the huge-it slider, that works for displaying the alt code, but it also makes that text visible on top of the image and I don’t like the way it looks.

Perhaps there’s a way to hide the title or description elements via css or javascript? Anybody know?

I was wondering, why there is always made a connection call to the youtube-server within the main.js (tag.src = “//www.youtube.com/player_api”;) even if I don’t have any youtube-videos.

Hi, I updated the Huge It Slider to the latest version (4.0.3) and now the slider doesn’t work properly. It is at the top of the page but it shows tiny pictures somehow. Why did this happen? Can you check it please?

Edit: It strted working properly after a while… Maybe it was a cache issue.

Once of the banners on our home page is supposed to open a new tab taking user to . https://www.eccho.org/eccho-reg-cc-subcommittee. New tab is opening, but it’s circling back to our home page. I am using the Huge IT Slider.

I have Wordfence installed to help with security, and this tells me that the Huge It Slider plug-in has been removed from www.remarpro.com. I cannot find it either on www.remarpro.com. This obviously has security implications. I am currently using Huge IT Slider v.4.0.6

Please tell me whether this version has been compromised or is simply not being updated.

I updated the huge IT slider and after my update the slider is not showing the pictures.
I tried RollBack and tried it on every version available amd it didn’t work ??
I’m not the creator of the site and i got it to do some edits. it’s the company’s site and i’m just an intern. I’m in serious heat here. HELP please!!!

The slidr was working perfect, but something hapened when we updated to 4.9.2, now we are seeing like there is some garbage in the code like: “> and all the images are not encapsulated in the slider, as you can see, we are seeing all the images at the same time.

We are using this in demo mode currently. I would love the opportunity to set a date/time for the sliders to be removed automatically. Also, would love the option to save removed sliders in another gallery for insertion later when monthly events reoccur.

I am using the Free version of the Slider – it is very nice – thanks! But when I load it first time – images are too small – page has to be refreshed.
Is there a solution for this?

Not sure what’s going on, but this slider looks awful in mobile browsers. What can be done?

Without the slide, our site loads quickly. With the sliders there is a sizable delay will images buffer. Any suggestions for how to improve the loading speed?

Do you specs for image setting adjustments and size?
Do you have specs for the average number of images to have in a slider?

I really like this plugin, so thank you in advance for any support you may be able to provide me.

My issue is that for some reason when you load the page that contains the slider (prod-aws.digi-me.com) the thumbnail images show as boxes that an image was unable to load into. If you inspect the image further, it shows a src url of something similar to:

No image actually exists under these URLs. Now here’s the weird part, if you click on any of those boxes, the image pulls up fine in the lightbox, proving that the account is linked correctly. Has anyone else dealt with this issue and has suggestions for moving forward? I have attempted unlinking and relinking the account, reinstalling the plugin and clearing cache for my browser and the site’s cache.

I used to be able to use links in the description, however on an update, I noticed that the quotes in around href attribute in anchor tag in descriptions was breaking the display of the slider. I notice in this version the description is stored in a data attribute, and quotes around the href in A tag in description was causing problems.

I changed double quotes to single quotes, and it now works again, however the href is being stripped from my description links.

Is there a way to be able to use anchor tags with links in the description anymore?

The slider on my home page looks like it’s loading. I think there is some kind of error in the plug in. Can someone please help me reslove this. Im not very tec savy so need step by step help.

The plugin’s menu doesn’t show up in wp backend when using Genesis framework Version: 2.5.3 (using basic sample theme). It’s the no.1 wp framework, so I guess this bug matters to some people.
The shortcode still works though.

Is it possible to have a slideshow that doesn’t automatically change slides, and only changes when user presses the navigation arrows? I tried setting “change speed” to 0 but that didn’t seem to do it.

I am using the free version of this plugin and it works great except the following issue.
The 3 sharing buttons don’t appear under the image slider in a desktop view: they only appear very very briefly when I refresh the view, then the slider seems to hide them.
But when I view my website on my 4 inches smartphone, the 3 buttons perfectly appear and work…
Is that a bug? or a misconfiguration?

According to my tests Huge IT Slider plugin has got some compatible problem with WooCommerce latest version: After updated WooCommerce I can’t edit products (blank page) when Slider plugin is switch on. When I turn it off, products are editable again.

Could you please help me out?

Slider was duplicated and new one doesn’t work either.

Slides show quickly as a group but then disappear and loading icon is all that shows.

Similar to another user’s problems 3 month ago I have mobile images that are stretched vertically.

On desktop and laptop, the result is perfect but on tablet and smartphone
the slide photographs are vertically stretched. The distortion is especially visible when there are people on the pictures.

Is there a way to fix the issue?
