Slider isn’t visible if requesting direct link to the comment form on any wordpress pages..
if you visit https://ridesonic.ch/gtos-von-basel-bis-lausanne-2015-05 and scroll to the bottom you can see the slider. Everything works on any page.
if you visit https://ridesonic.ch/gtos-von-basel-bis-lausanne-2015-05#respond (clear your cache or reload full page) you can’t see it.
thats the bug.
would be nice if it could be fixed.
Hello, urgent need your help. We changed “Registration form” in Slider options drop down list and saved. So Slider CAPTCHA appeared in Registration form. After we changed all options in Slider options so Slider CAPTCHA still appears in the same Registration form and cannot be removed from there. We deactivated this plugin, deleted and reinstalled, but it did not solve the problem – still appears in the same form even if we changed different options in Slider options.
Here is the link where Slider CAPTCHA still exists: https://www.thepaddockmagazine.com/my-account/
Could you, please, help us to fix this issue?
The CF7 integration is perfect, save one small thing:
The Tag generator window (in CF7) is completely blank, leaving the average user no way of knowing what name/code to insert into the CF7 form interface to get the captcha to appear. (CF7 recently got an overhaul so he may have changed how that tag generator is output)
Your documentation is very clear about having to use the plugin’s setting interface to configure the plugin options — which is no problem at all — but the one thing you’re missing is the literal shortcode-esque tag to put into CF7. ([slidercaptcha]
)
It seems many of the support threads about CF7 are missing this one crucial detail, which should be a snap to fix by hooking into CF7.
Or, even just add the shortcode tag to your Installation Docs here on WP.
That said the plugin worked fantastically for me out of the box, so I gave it 5-stars and updated the compatibility stats to 4.2.4 =)
Thanks for a sweet plugin, did just what a client was asking for!

Slider captcha reports incorrect validation result to CF7. This means CF7 will send an e-mail regardless of validation result.
Unless this bug is fixed your contact form has the same level of protection against spam-bots as a bare form without a captcha.
Here’s how you can test it. Open your contact form and (using Firebug or equivalent if you’re using different browser than FF) enable the form’s submit button by removing its disabled attribute. Now fill all necessary fields in the form and click submit. As the slider captcha has not been unlocked the form will be sent WITHOUT validation data, but it will be accepted due to the bug described above.
Hope for a fix soon.
Hello, still not working with WP 4.1 can we please update it …..
We installed the plugin, but we find it to act very sensitive with the latest iOS (ipad and iphone). The only time we managed to validate the form is by moving it very slowly and pausing for one second at the end. Otherwise, it will always slide back. Is this how it should act?
I have a custom-built contact form that posts fine on its own but recently we’ve been getting spam so I found your plugin looking to prevent bots using it.
When I add the slider it works, it prevents submission of the form until unlocked, but the once-successful POST now suddenly goes to a 404 page, despite the URL being the same and both HTTP_REFERER and REQUEST_URI reporting it is in the correct place.
Any idea why, or how the POST is being altered that might cause this?
Thanks,

I am currently using Contact 7. I do have comments disabled on website.
I activated Contact 7. Still only the old captcha shows. I then added:
<?php if(function_exists(‘slider_captcha’))
slider_captcha(‘comments’);
?>
That did not work.
Should I remove the captcha from the Comment 7 form first? How do I get this to work? I am getting spams all day long with the Contact 7 captcha.
Thanks.
I just installed the plugin on a client’s older 3.5.1 WP install. Unfortunately the settings pages are not showing the live preview or the submit button.
Any ideas?
Thanks

We are using your plugin “Slider Captcha” on registration form of woocommerce. Plugin have added the captcha on the registration form, it is working fine if there is no validation error message and register the user but it is not working incase if there is any error message, like users have not entered the correct email id and then they have slide the captcha and then click on register button and after submit it goes “page not found”.
Please let us know if have any solution to resolve this issue.
I am trying to use Slider Captcha with AWPCP and they have a place ad page with the following short code:
[AWPCPPLACEAD]
If I try to place the Slider Captcha short code before or after the AWPCP short code it shows up on the page, however does not lock the submit button.
The HTML for the submit button within the form looks like this:

Is there a way to target the button using the Slider Captcha short code?
Maybe design the Slider Captcha to hide the submit button using CSS display if it can’t lock the button from outside the form?

I am using the slider captcha and it worked perfect.
Now I have installed the SSL and the page with slider captcha showing the error, cause the captcha is treated as unsecure content.
Can you please help me to solve this.

Boas,
Aguardo “feedback”.
Obrigado.
Hello!
I really like the plugin, but it adds quite a lot of overhead when it comes to the javascript it uses that slows down our site.
Would it be possible to get the jqueryui though a CDN (code.jquery)?
What I tied:
The function: “public function register_scripts() {” seems to load the scripts and i removed the following lines:
wp_enqueue_script('jquery');
wp_enqueue_script('jquery-ui-core');
wp_enqueue_script('jquery-ui-widget');
wp_enqueue_script('jquery-ui-mouse');
wp_enqueue_script('jquery-ui-draggable');
wp_enqueue_script('jquery-ui-droppable');
and replaced them with (i matched the version number rather crudely):
wp_enqueue_script('jquery-ui', 'https://code.jquery.com/ui/1.10.4/jquery-ui.js', false, '1.10.4', false);
After that the slider did show up on the registration form, but not on the comment form.
Is there something I missed or a better way of achieving my goal?
Thank you very much for any help!
Hi,
I use your plugin on 3 of my websites and it works brilliantly. There is one little glitch however, on one of these websites, the slider doesn’t seem to be appearing on the login form (wp-login.php), and therefore when I try and login, I just get the following message:
ERROR: Something went wrong with the CAPTCHA validation. Please make sure you have JavaScript & Cookies enabled on your browser.
Using the exact same settings on my other websites, and accessing it from the same browser, I can see the slider, and can successfully login.
Please can you advise on what might be the issue.
I’m using a custom wp-signup.php form (which is in my theme folder) and when I activate your plugin and activate for the registration page, it kills my page — totally blank.
I really like the way this works and hope to enable it on my site!
P.S. The word ‘costumize’ is misspelled — it’s “customize”. ??
Using version 1.4.4. with Contact form 7. I will out the form and have required fields. I fill in the email field incorrectly (not a valid email address) I then slide the slider over and submit form. It does not go thru (axone would expect) has it is not a valid email address.
I correct the mistake. The slide is still over at its far right potion. I hit send again but I still get validation error
I can’t seem to get this plugin working. I added the appropriate code to the comments.php file for the theme I’m using (TwentyEleven) but I can’t get it to show up anywhere. I tried adding it before and after the comment_form(); function call with no success. Am I missing something?

I’ve been trying to add Slider CAPTCHA Ver 1.4.4) to Contact Form 7 (Ver 3.9) with no success.
When I click on Generate Tag for Slider CAPTCHA on the Contact Form 7 Admin page all that appears are the words Slider CAPTCHA with no options.
I’ve tried generating other tags and they work fine. Slider CAPTCHA is the only one that doesn’t do something.
I do not no if this is a Contact Form 7 problem or a Slider CAPTCHA problem, but I thought I’d start my quest for a solution here.
The site is https://www.gerichilds.com
The theme I’m using is Dynamik Website Builder Powered by Genesis Framework.
Thanks in advance for your assistance in this matter,

I love the slider captcha. Incredible concept and far superior to all the other captcha plugins I have tried. However I am concerned about one thing. I have had problems in the past with registration spam and bots registering on my system. Have you done any kind of testing to determine how secure this captcha is?
I would appreciate some feedback on this…..
