I’ve been directed to this site and asked to raise a ticket to get help with the Slider and Carousel Plus Widget for Instagram. I’m here but I cannot see anywhere how to raise a ticket? Can someone please help? Thanks

Hi I just installed the plugin and the only instructions RE setting it up is “do plugin settings”. Under “Insta Feed – WPOS” there is just the option to flush cache and nothing else. I think a lot of people are saying this plugin doesn’t work because they can’t find this either and it’s not in the documentation so they cannot connect to insta.

I really appreciate the simplicity of this plugin.

However, I am – as most people using this will do, no doubt – experiencing a problem with the display of the images from Instagram. Apparently, Instagram have recently updated their CORS policy, blocking the display of images on websites other than their own.

In the Console, every attempt to display an Instagram image runs into this error: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_RESPONSE.

Any help that you can provide to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

My plugin stuck on loading..
can you resolve my issue?

On desktop and tablet views it works well that the images are square but on mobile the image is showing as a rectangle. I use the settings popup_gallery=”false” popup=”false” slidestoshow=”6″ limit=”18″ dots=”false” gallery_height=”auto” image_fit=”true” autoplay=”false”

Thoughts about how to get square images on all screen sizes?

The plugin was working fine a week ago and then all of the sudden it doesn’t. It now only displays the “Loading” text and never loads. It works fine on another one of my websites with he same theme so I don’t know what’s going on.

Hi, I’m a bit shocked, the only settings I see in the plugin is to flush the cache..
where can I put token? Where all other possible settings? I’ve read documentations and can’t figure out nothing! Maybe a bug on my platform or poor documents?

Your plugin has been working fine, then suddenly 2 days ago it would only show “Loading…” and have no images loading.
Also, in the console there are 2 errors showing.

I’ve done the following:

1. disabled most other plugins to check for clashes
2. Activated Theme “Twenty Twenty One”
3. Cleared all caches on – browser, plugin, speed cache
4. Tested on different devices/browsers
5. Updated my .htaccess file with:

   <ifModule mod_headers.c>
   Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *
   </ifModule>

I have the live site transferred to a staging server and can give you access to check it out/test.

Your plugin looks awesome but i can’t display my instagram in with the carousel. On my website

I enter the code [iscwp-slider username = ”instagram”], I replace (username) with the name of my instagram page then I paste the paste the code in a text block but nothing appears.

I also did the same thing on the widget side, replacing (username) with the name of my instagram page but no results.

What should I do to connect my instagram page to your plugin to make the carousel appear?

Hello, the plugin was running smoothly till the new auto-update of WordPress 5.6.1. Now it stuck on “Loading” message. I reinstalled it but nothing changed. Any idea?

I was expecting the captions I add to images in Instagram will be displayed below the image, but they’re not. Am I doing anything wrong?

Is there a way to override the public.js file without editing the plugin file to make sure changes are kept if plugin is updated?
eg, setting slidesToShow for mobile to 2, I want that to stay after updates.

I installed your free extension, and it works 10/10, except for these 2 problems:

– I cannot disable popup in slider mode, don’t matter what I try in the shortcode.

– Videos simply doesn’t play. When I inspect the video popup, video src attibute is displayed as <source src(unknown) type=”video/mp4″>, so no video loads. Poster is displayed ok.

I even tried checking your demo page, and videos don’t play there too (same problem).

We add alt tags to our images on Instagram for Accessibility purposes, but your plugin isn’t pulling the alt tags from Instagram, so the alt tags we added are not present on our website.

Is there some setting I need to change so the alt tags are properly pulled?

A change which is set to roll out on October 24 will break embedded Facebook and Instagram content on WordPress sites.

To be specific, an upcoming API update will remove support for unauthenticated Facebook and Instagram embeds.

That means, after October 24, embedded content will only be supported for publishers with a Facebook developer account and a registered Facebook app.

The change is retroactive, so all Facebook and Instagram embeds on the sites of unauthenticated publishers will soon become broken. This has the potential to affect millions of sites.

Will it effect your plugin too? If yes, do you have any plan to fix this?

I have a problem with the Limit.
[iscwp-slider limit=”30″ username=”something” popup=”true” slidestoscroll=”1″ slidestoshow=”5″ loop=”false” dots=”true” autoplay_interval=”5000″ image_fit=”true”]

I checked var_dump $limit and it shows me 30.
Strange thing is Slick Slider loads only 12. It seems I’m doing this correctly but the plugin loads only 12. Can you point me to a direction what should I check or is this an instagram probelm ??
