I was working on a SI extension plugin when I deactivated the SI core plugin.
The Sliced Invoices Recurring extension plugin then crashed the WordPress site.

“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.“

I would have expected a notice-error like message saying the “You need the core SI plugin activated to run the Sliced Sliced Invoices Recurring extension plugin. Similar to what the Sliced Invoices Better URL’s plugin does. Below is the message in the error log.

[27-Jun-2024 17:29:50 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Undefined constant “SLICED_VERSION” in C:\xampp\htdocs\abidinsapps\wp-content\plugins\sliced-invoices-recurring\includes\sliced-invoices-recurring-update.php:24

I have added “offline” payment instructions to the top of the invoice (see link).
That top section is partitioned, left & right. The payment buttons are “wrapped” in the left partition.

I am trying to figure out how to open or merge the left & right partitions so my buttons go all the way across without wrapping.

Has anyone customized the sliced-invoice-display.php template to do anything like that without modifying any core sliced invoice files?

I want to give the customer instructions on the payment page when paying by offline means (check, Cash App, Zelle, Venmo, etc).

If they click on one of these payment methods on the invoice, the payment page is blank. I tried to add code/content to the page but it does not display anything other than my logo at the top.

Any suggestions?

How do I change the status of an invoice? For some reason a paid invoice is showing as scheduled and there’s no way to alter it that I can see.

I have found some minor problems for permissions.

1. Administrator role cannot see the buttons of Quotes & Invoices on the Admin Dashboard. I copy the Quotes Button’s URL link like https://mywebsite.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=sliced_quote from Shop Manager role’s user and then browse it and then I can get this error message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this admin page. Reason: There is a hidden menu item with the same URL (edit.php?post_type=sliced_quote) but a higher priority.”. When the users of Shop Manager role try to modify Status of Quotes/Invoices or send emails …etc, the system shows this error “Sorry, the current login does not have permission to edit this item.”.

Would you mind telling me how to fix the above TWO problems ?

I have had your plugin since 2018. And I’m really satisfied with it. But, it lacks a little something: that is to say, different reminder emails. Currently, we always send the same email. I think it would be quite simple to implement different emails for each date. For example, a courtesy email for just a simple reminder. Another, before the due date (for example, the one for 7 days), which indicates that the product or service could be canceled without payment. And the emails after the due date, which are a reminder ** a bit** more robust.

I would like to add a shortcode in my description invoice.

I created a simple shortcode to display the current date :

function display_current_date() {

}

add_shortcode('current_date', 'display_current_date');  

It works on pages but not on the invoice description, when I load the page I only have the name of the shortcode who is displayed : [current_date]

There is some way to add a date dynamically ? I want to write a sentence like this :

“Your invoice for [October] : “

Hello, is it possible to edit invoice statuses?

Gravity forms allows the use of a product option field which allows you to vary the price of a product field, sliced invoices does not take into account the product option field and therefore the prices on the invoices do not correspond to reality.

it’s a big problem for billing… The problem only appears with the use of the product options field, if we only use the product field the price is good.

Is it possible to Include the “product options” field in line_item to allow price calculations to be used based on the options in the form so that prices are displayed correctly on quotes and invoices.

When we register a new user to send invoice or quotation. Their is no option to upload any profile photo.

If this option is given we can upload business card or trade license copy of our customers for records purposes.

Generally speaking quite happy with the plugin. Works fine for most Customers but I have some who are not on line with email but use just whatsapp etc.

Hi, I noticed invoices (post type) is public and appears in our XML sitemap for example. I’m pretty sure clients do not wish their invoices being index by Google or even accessible to anyone else but the involved parties.

After I’ve set up a new invoice with Sliced Invoices and published it, when I try to view the invoice I receive the message “file not found” every time. The same thing happens after I’ve sent the invoice to the client.

I’ve tried disabling Yoast SEO in case there is a conflict there, but the same thing happens.
