In several places, I’m seeing the text “Elementor” over and over and over (maybe thirty times?). The html is Elementor. When I deactivate Slate, these entries are gone.
Hey there,
I really like the appearance of Slate but I have an error message in every post on the All posts page:
Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 1 passed to Avia_Gutenberg::handler_display_post_states() must be of the type array, null given, called in B:\xampp\htdocs\wp-includes\class-wp-hook.php on line 287 and defined in B:\xampp\htdocs\wp-content\themes\enfold\config-gutenberg\class-avia-gutenberg.php:671
It doesn’t affect the Edit post page.
It’s only there since I have Slate. If I turn it off, the error msg. disappears. I have the latest WP and Enfold theme. I’m on localhost so I can’t give you a link.
Do you guys have any suggestion?

Hiya,
Is this something that can be fixed?
Hi there,
The plugin is causing an issue in the Appearance – > Menu area.
Below is the nag message I am getting:

It is also causing issues with elementor.
Really love this plugin – but the only way to fix the issues is to disable the plugin.
Please help!
Hi
I love this theme, but I have a problem with it not quite working with WooCommerce. The WC breadcrumbs at the top are not quite showing and the whole admin menu scrolls when you scroll a page in WC.
Any ideas?
Thx

Hi,
seems that a nav menu widget in the frontend gets some extra markup:

Front PagePrivacy Policy Page

...
when i disable the plugin, everything gets good.
i think it has something to do with the latest WP updates
i am able to fix the code somewhere – where to send the update to?
otherwise i have to uninstall the plugin which makes me sad then
Hi Slate team,
when can we expect an update? it’s been quite a while and it is beginning to display some issues when editing a page in the backend…
Greetings,
First I’ll say I love this theme, thanks for generously providing it free of charge! I’ll likely be upgrading to Slate Pro soon.
The issue I’m having is in my admin dashboard, a widget I have (#postbox-container-1 and inner contents) is not working responsively as it should.
Between 1801px and 1949px width, the contents appear to wrap/stack on top of each other.

but the slate appears not be working properly when we enter in the pages sections, in the listing of pages/products/etc is missing the fields like author, picture etc…
screen options appear not be working when we click on it.. we like this template a lot and would be a shame if we couldn’t use it … Does anyone have ideas what this could be?

you can wrap it in your plugin.

Hi Ryan,
Thank you for your nice job creating this wonderful theme. There is a small alignment issue with the new editor in WP 5. Are you planning to release an update about this?
Hi, I’ve found that your plugin is tries to obtain a list of all registered users and create an ‘ul’ with them. It tries to do this on every settings page even if the list is not showed, e.g. on license page. I’ve tested it on the site with 80k+ users. This causes an issue with blank pages (license / settings and other pages) because the server shoot down the process while it tries to build users list. Could you please fix this? Thank you!
AWESOME plugin! I am using Divi theme and there were some styling issues in the dashboard. Here’s the coding I’ve added to fix styling. Hopefully you can add it to a future release:)
#et_pb_layout.postbox {

}
#et_pb_layout.postbox .handlediv {
width: 70px;
}
#et_pb_layout.postbox .et_pb_section a {
color: #292929;
}
#et_settings_meta_box .hndle::before {

}
#side-sortables .postbox {
box-shadow: inset 0 0 0 #fff;

Hi, I love using the Slate Admin styler with a bit of custom CSS over it.
Sadly it seem that Slate over-writes the theme icon colors in the Top- & Side- menus.
I didn’t find a working selector to change these font colors – in normal & hover state. Is it even possible to add custom CSS to them ? If so what are the good selectors for it ?
Best.

I have error loging enabled and this notice comes up a lot:
PHP Notice: Undefined variable: c in ..../wp-content/plugins/slate-admin-theme/css/dynamic.php on line 1
Looking at the code, it appears that slate_get_user_admin_color()
could be returning an unhandled value but my profile settings show that I’m using the default colour scheme.
I think adding else {$c=$one;}
should fix it.
Howdy!
I thought I’d give Slate a go after a year without, but I discover the switch to Slate as the admin theme causes a visual glitch in the snipped that the Yoast plugin adds below the post contents, in the post editor.
The small images representing snipped sections are forced to blend in with the text that should be following them.
Screenshots.

Without Slate, still with Yoast: https://imgur.com/3XzeTh4
I don’t *ask* for support, I’ll simply turn off Slate, I’m simply taking a pair of minutes to report a problem, in case you guys are interested in knowing when problems happen.
Have a good day!

Hi,
I love the Slate admin theme!
I just have one problem, it breaks the drag and drop on my Appearance > Widgets screen. Your theme’s top bar covers/interferes with the collapsible “Available Widgets” menu on the left. I have to switch to Accessibility Mode to manage the widgets. Everything works as intended when I deactivate the Slate theme.
It would be great if you could fix this ??

Thanks for the great plugin.
However I noticed that once I have clicked on the “collapse menu” button on a website and I can’t expand the menu anymore which is frustrating.
I’m 99% it comes from this plugin. It’s like the button is dead… ??
Thanks if you can help!
I have recently updated my WordPress to v4.6.1 and currently use the most recent version of Slate Admin theme. I have noticed in the update that the background colour of the admin area is no longer white. It appears that the new version of WordPress also adds a background colour to the
as well as the
. This is currently ruining the look of slate admin theme.
Will this be fixed? If so, what kind of timeframe?
