Since the start of the service SiteLock is not able to connect to my (verified) domain and verify the SSL certificate. Support reactions are far from satisfying.

They will show false positives for Google Analytics tag, then charge you to remove it, then send you an email saying they were wrong and it was a false positive and that they didn’t actually remove any malware, but won’t refund your money.

With my extensive travels, festival reviews and listing of nearly 1,000 Ohio festivals, it’s impossible for me to constantly check the safety of the thousands of outgoing links found on my website. That’s why I’m thankful when SiteLock warns me about a malicious site so that I can quickly remove the bad link before my readers click on it.

SiteLock employees definitely understand customer service. When I signed up for Sitelock’s website security service, I was also in the middle of changing web hosting companies, transferring my domain name and getting my website redesigned in the wake of my previous website having been hacked and rendered useless. Steve (my SiteLock security consultant) went the extra mile and helped with some things that weren’t even his responsibility.

Our website had been compromised previously, each time causing reduced search engine traffic and a lot of time and money to fix the issues. And, we still could not figure out how it was happening. The SiteLock engineers found the holes and thoroughly cleaned our site. Now with SiteLock’s daily scanning…, our site is secure!!

I own a wedding business in Las Vegas. I chose to use SiteLock for my site after experiencing a virus on my website a year ago. The previous virus was a nasty self-replicating one that brought my business to a complete stand still. I did not want to take the chance that the site would be hit again by unscrupulous hackers. I chose to incorporate Sitelock into my current website and have been grateful that I did.

We signed up for SiteLock when we were in the midst of a hacker attack. They jumped into action immediately and took care of the problem. We have been using their services ever since and have never had another issue. We won’t ever be left “naked” without SiteLock in the future!

Have been running SiteLock on my e-commerce store for the past 2 years and have found the product to be both helpful and unintrusive. The few times that SiteLock noticed security issues, it alerted me immediately and I was able to take of the vulnerability without delay. Being able to display the SiteLock Secure badge offers peace of mind to visitors and customers that my website is constantly being checked for security holes and vulnerabilities.

SiteLock’s poor support deparment has made it clear that their product does not work with the GoDaddy managed WordPress product.
Stay away from this product. There are so many others that are better. It is easier dealing with malware than their product.

Like others; the plug in will not connect to my hosting provider; GoDaddy.
SiteLock says call GoDaddy.
GoDaddy has never heard of the plug in and says call SiteLock.
Without being able to login, the plugin is worthless.
Why doesn’t SiteLock call GoDaddy and just fix the issue?
– Thanks!

Like most of the integrations Sitelock has been trying to do with hosting providers (GoDaddy & Bluehost), it’s unfinished and untested.
I was unable to connect to Sitelock because signing in using my hosting provider looped me back to the sign in screen. Customer service will redirect you to GoDaddy, who will redirect you back to Sitelock.

I have a WordPress Optimized account with Bluehost and W3 Total Cache plugin.
When asked to connect my account it takes me to a SiteLock dashboard with several options to upgrade but no button to connect to WordPress.
Hopefully the customer service I receive will give a reason to modify my review.
