Offline mode is disabled. Cache deleted in browser and on website. Home page still shows offline mode. Disabled the plugin and had the same result. Tried several browsers with the same result. This is not a cache issue.
]]>I just installed your plugin today and got it set up. Now when I go to any page that has /account/
in the url, such as /account/settings/
or /account/messages/
I get redirected to the back-end. Please fix this or I will have to use another plugin. I also see that you are not responding to anyone’s support; I would appreciate a response to give some sort of update status.

]]>Hi, how are you?
I thought I should report this issue. 3 days ago (6th April 23) I updated various plugins on my WP site, which included my 3 main ones, WordPress from 6.1.1 to 6.2, WooCommerce from 7.4.0 to 7.5.1 and my website theme which had been updated to work with WP 6.2 & WC 7.5.1. Since those updates my ‘my-account’ page had gained a 302 AND 301 error, and continually redirected to ‘wp-admin’. I did a lot of research and much testing, but to no avail. I then went down the obvious route, which I should maybe have done initially, of disabling all addons and starting each in turn. I reached this ‘site offline’ plugin and et voila, the my-account page redirected to wp-admin. I disabled again and tested, and my-account worked. I went through all my other plugins, activated and tested, and they were all fine.
I understand that this plugin is only tested up to WP 6.1.1, so it’s my own fault really. :0)
I do like this plugin, but for now I have to keep it deactivated and use an alternative.
Thank you,
Paul.
]]>When our dutch site is off line I noticed a (for us) nasty problem. We were creating menu’s and when we added the term Ledenadministratie to a primary menu the system responded showing the WP Admin page!!!
After a swich to ON LINE the problem was gone but appeared again when switched to OFF LINE.
We tested with different dutch words and as soon as we entered something longer than “leden” the problem occurred.
Allthough it is a minor problem it should not occur at all.
Best regards and thanks for a nice plugin,
Bert Roode
]]>Hi there,
Your plugin uses a wrong status code for a maintenance page. It uses status code “200 OK” whereas it should use “503 Service Unavailable”. This is fatal in case an indexing service like Google drops by while the site is in maintenance mode.
]]>Hi,
I installed the site offline plugin and created my own design. I activated it and saw that it did not work for all my pages. The homepage and the contact page were still visible. So, I tried to fix this, but I couldn’t deactivate the offline mode. I deactivated the plugin, deleted it but the offline mode is still on for some pages. I can’t change this, while I tried many things. I already tried to delete the cashes of my wordpress, my safari and my Google Chrome. I hope someone can help me with this, because I want all pages offline or online, and not just some pages. At the moment, the site is partly online and this is not what I want.
]]>I love this plugin apart from when I want a client or editor to be able to login and preview the site. They can only do this as an admin.
All other user roles show the maintenance page instead of the site.
Hope you can fix it as that is the only issue with it.
Problem solven was caused by differnet plugin
Please delete/ignore
I can’t turn off offline mode.
I installed and then uninstalled the plug-in but it doesn’t work and my site remains disabled
]]>I can’t get rid of the offline mode. I need this fixed ASAP!!!!!!
]]>Hello,
First of all great plugin!
Although, I just saw that when the user types something to the URL with a dash eg qq-admin the 404 appears from the actual page of the theme instead of redirecting to the offline site.
How could I fix this issue?
Thank you in advance.
PS You can check this error here
]]>HEY, i used Site Offline plugin since half an year and now i want to go online.
But now i cannot deactivate the site offline mode. I used the deativate radio button in the plugin, i deactivated the plugin itself and i deleted the plugin, but still the offline mode is enabled. Can someone help me ?
Hello
I was wondering if there is a way for me to allow a specific role to view a site that is Offline? Or is it only possible for Admin roles?
thank you
]]>When I’m logged into my site as an admin there is, as with most maintenance plugins, a button in the header where you can click and turn maintenance mode on or off.
In your case it’s a purple button that says: “Site Offline Mode Active”
Now, unfortunately, when I click it I get an error message that says, “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
But I’m logged in as the admin. This isn’t a big deal because I can obviously go to the WordPress menu at the side and select your plugin and go to the settings page and turn it on or off, but it would be nice if this worked.
Thanks,
ernie
Hello. I can’t use GA script and track traffic under SEO/GA. Every time i wrote id down and save code put itself in body somehow. Can u tell me how to write code down, how can I fix this? thanks
]]>I noticed that although it looks like I can change the font in the settings, the actual font displayed never changes. Is the ability to change fonts a pro feature?
No biggee. I do like the plugin.
Thanks.
]]>Hi there,
I’m hoping to allow this one single page to show to the public while the rest of the site stays hidden while the site is being built. Is this possible?
Thanks!
]]>Hello,
I am adding the gtag.js from google analytics to the site but after saving the code keeps appearing to the front.
The same happens when I add analytics.js to the site.
What is the problem? Am I adding something wrong with the script?
Thank you in advance
Can I use a background video for the maintenance mode in your plugin? I wish to use local hosted video from my own server.
]]>Hi,
I am running the Site offline / Maintenance mode plugin for more than a week now with no problems. Today, as I was working in WP admin suddenly was logged out for no reason, and when I tried to log back in I am getting the Under Maintenance screen that only visitors should see.
It is not allowing me to log into my site’s admin at all!
I have the latest upgrades to all components in WP.
This is extremely urgent – please I need some help.
Thanks
]]>As many others I also tried to get the site online. Tried to disable the offline mode, tried deactivating it, tried deleting it and also emptied cache. I don’t get it. Can someone help?
Thanks in advance
]]>Quando metto off il plugin, il sito non si attiva, anzi mi manda alla pagina wp-admin, aiuto e grazie
]]>I am trying to activate background image and logo, but they are not visible. I can only see background color that I select and the text that I am including.
It seems like, when I select background image or enable logo, nothing happens.
Have you seen this before?
So there are two places I can go to the settings.
On the left side menu of the admin screen, towards the bottom.
Then also on the top right (the top bar).
The left side menu gives me this link: https://(linktomysite).com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=sahu_site_offline_wp
The top bar link: https://(linktomysite).com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=sahu_coming_soon_so
I changed my actual domain to (linktomysite) but the real links contain the actual domain. I don’t know what is the rule putting links, don’t want to advertise my site.
The top bar link sends to a white screen with the following message: Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.
The left admin menu goes to the proper settings page and everything goes fine.
I have latest version of the plugin, latest version of WordPress and everything else is latest version.
When I click the link on the top bar when on the front page of my website: https://(linktomysite).com/?page=sahu_coming_soon_so leads to the 404 page
]]>Hi
