I’m still having problems with the gallery. I’ve noticed that Ahrefs is throwing up more and more issues containing:

links to 404 pages, 4XX pages, links to broken pages…

example: https://www.mydomain.com/?attachment_id=6713

Is there any way to fix this? I love this gallery, but I would love to solve all these issues. Thanks in advance for your help.

When I create Albums, there is nowhere on the page to add Galleries to the Albums. When I create a page and add an Album Block, there are no Albums to display in the drop down menu for the block.

for the galleries on my front page, I used the Envira Gallery plugin, but now try to change to Simply Gallery Blocks.

The transition went smooth so far, but I have one problem: If you look at the last post on the page “Weinhaus Pfandler” (which was done with Simply Gallery), there is a 15 pixel inset on the left and right. For the Envira Gallery above (“Porr Zentrale Wien”) I had the same problem fixed with custom CSS.

Can you tell me how to find out the appropriate CSS for this problem?

I really love the simplicity of this plugin but for some reason the image quality isn’t great using the Masonry/Justified in XL size. It’s like it’s not displaying the images in full resolution. What gives? There seems to be no option to change the resolution.

I noticed that google does not show images from my Simply Slider Gallery pages. Google does find static images that I places on other pages.
Is there something in general that I can do to make Google recognize the images in the Simply Slider Galleries?

As I currently want to migrate old data to wordpress and also would like to reduce the manual effort when generating new posts, I have several questions:

• Is there a docu about the shoirtcodes? I could not find! Is there a change to generate by images instead of a galery (would imply a manual step before, hence shortcode would not make sense any more)
• How do you recommend to easily add a galery to new blogs automatically by just using images? I plan to do some heavy csv import…
• If I add a picture to wordpress as picture or attachement, the lightbox does not work, even though all lightbox settings are activated.

Amazing plugin, but I am battling to figure out how to show the gallery edit seciton, to upload, delete, and so on, on the front end… I do not want to have anyone have access to the back end of the website, as that would cause some issues in the long run.

is there a way to show the simply gallery dashboard in a gallery upload page, without having to use a widget every single time?

i see that when i installed a widget on the page, it created a page on ‘192.168.8.103/wp-admin/post.php?post=12&action=edit‘, but i cannot link to that page, no matter what i do from the front end…

can the new galley be set to use default global rather then choose each time. thanks

Since upgrading WordPress to 6.2.2 Simply Gallery Simply Grid appears to have layout issues on front end, instead of slide layout, shows as vertical thumbnails in one column.

Hi, I’m really happy with your plugin, specially the masonery layout.

I’m working on a website, and in a page, I use the gutenberg simply blocs. In that page, we have several masonery blocs to display product collections by theme. I’m facing an issue when uploading images or when I want to do updates, and the thumbails dont show, I have a spinning wheel saying “loading” and sometimes it never loads.
Also sometimes images dont load properly and I have blue rencangles with a “!” in the back but it’s ok in the front.

I tried another way, creating galleries on the pluging section in order to use the shortcode, but I face the same issue, when the media library modal opens, images dont appear.

I checked with my hosting provider and everything is fine with the server.

Please can you help me fix this issue ?

In admin I have the same shortcode for all galleries in the Galleries table.
Solved by changing

echo '[pgc_simply_gallery id="' . get_the_ID() . '"]';

to

echo '[pgc_simply_gallery id="' . $post_id . '"]';

in the file blocks/simply_post.php

I’ve been using your awesome plugin without issue for a while. This is the first time I’ve bought the Pro version which I plan to use it’s galleries but for now just want to take advantage of the automatic lightbox on Gutenberg Image and Gallery Blocks. Unfortunately it’s not working and I don’t know what could be interfering with the functionality. On my sample page I have both an image and gallery block with the images linked to the media files but all that happens is is the image file is loaded.

I have created a gallery and have set presets for the masonry block to auo play video and no gap between thumbnails. however i cannot find where to apply this, even if i create a new gallery the settings are not applied. i have seen a previous thread, but i have no right toolbar to select the settings described below.

By default, the gallery uses individual settings (the settings panel for the current block is the right sidebar). In order for the gallery to use the settings from the global preset, this must be activated in the gallery settings (Gallery Settings -> Use Global Presets).?

What is the function of the SimpLy Albums connected to the pictures in the Media Library?

Is it somehow possible to create a automatic gallery out of this information?

Any chance you could make a shortcode or Gutenberg block to replace the gallery on WooCommerce Single Product Page? Your current WooCommerce Gallery is great but I could really use one on product pages with your light box and slider for the product and product gallery images.

I’m pretty happy with this gallery plugin so far, other than intermittently crashing with a stack of PHP warnings. I’ve attached the error message output from my last episode of this. This does not happen every time I update something — maybe about every 3rd or 4th time. So far I haven’t seen this on any public facing pages, just in the WordPress Dashboard.

The thumbnails in galleries I add to my site are loading the full original sized images, rather than the “medium” wordpress size as the FAQ says.

Here’s a screenshot using inspect element on the thumbnails gallery. The image is being displayed at 282px, but the file being loaded is the full-sized 1024x683px version. This obviously slows down the page drastically if there are a lot of large images in the gallery.

Can I fix this? Is it a bug?

Please help with Simple Viewer. How can I force the preview of an element not to have such large gaps at the top and bottom (I mean the black frame in the link page). I want the preview content to fill the entire preview container, so that there is no thick black frame. I would be grateful for quick help. I have the PRO version of the plugin.

Hi, I have a problem with Simply Gallery plugin on iOS devices. I have simple website with Neve theme and no additional caching plugins. However, when accessing gallery from an iOS device it renders properly, refreshes out of nowhere and then “A problem repeatedly occured on (website.xyz)” pops up.

I’ve tried connecting to Safari Web Inspector but there are no console errors.

Problem appears in every style of the gallery. It has mixed contents (video + photo).

How can I alleviate this issue?

In the Simple Grid I lost the ability to add and edit links. My site has completely collapsed due to the fact that the button to add links is no longer active. I subscribed to premium but even that didn��t help! I ask for help on the forum how to fix this issue!
