This plugin looks great but it gives a UI glitch with slider revolution toggle switches, did you notice?

This plugin was not updated for a really long time, but surprisingly it is still working and doing all I would expect from it.

Simple Tooltips is a flexible and extensible WordPress plugin for modern tooltips. I’m using it with WordPress 5.3
A Big Thank you to developer!

You wouldn’t believe how complex creating your own tooltips can be. Simple Tooltips is powerful and easy to use. It works on desktop and mobile. Thanks so much for making such a solid tooltip solution for WordPress.

Thank you very very much! It’s very simple to use and it is just as easy to add code to customizing the tooltip.
Five stars very deserved!

This plugin works great and offers an interesting feature you may wish to add to your wordpress site.
I use it on my website where I teach Spanish. I use tooltips to provide explanations on new words and collocations. I can even insert images, which is very useful.
Thank you so much for making this possible!

We’re using this plugin on a Genesis themed website and added the code right into the widget area (Read more) and it worked beautifully. The support is also very quick and helpful. We love this plugin!

The plugin is ok but no support whatsoever is offered. The developer doesn’t address bugs either. Debug mode throws many errors about undefined variables.

This is a very good plugin, is very easy to use, and is exactly what I’d been looking for – thanks! Could a dotted underscore facility be introduced, please, so that readers can see where a tooltip is located? Right now I’m making use of colour on a trigger word, but I think a dotted line for that word would enhance things. (No problem as it is, it’s just a suggestion.)

This plugin is very easy to use and isn’t flaky as far as I can tell.

A very nice plugin, thanks. You may want to know that in developer mode (all errors and warnings showing), i am getting this notice:
Notice: Undefined variable: custom_tooltip_active in F:\projects-active\tourwriter.com\2015-08\www\wp-content\plugins\simple-tooltips\index.php on line 566
It’s a simple fix and i’ve made it on my copy for now. Hopefully with the next update this will go away ??

The plugin works well and does all that it is promised to do.
In future versions I would appreciate as new feature the possibility to set in the configuration a general style for the inline text. This would make it easier to have consistent styling without having to copy & paste between the posts of all style=’…’.
As default I suggest a dotted underscore (so that readers are able to see where is a tooltip available) and to change the cursor to “?” on mouseover.
