Installed plugin, added slides but I couldn’t attach a photo to any of the slides. What gives?

HTML slides feauture doesn’t work properly. I bought the plugin for this specific feature in order to create a video slider from Vimeo and YouTube videos.
Secondly, the documentation for both installing and using this slider are both poor. After fiddling with this plugin unsuccessfully I’m trying to get a refund.

1. There isn’t any place to add a caption.
2. You cannot search the WordPress Media Library, just scroll page by page.
3. There was a lot of empty white space under each image followed by a gray box that was empty.

This plugin works awesomely well compared to most free wp-plugins, have not yet found any bugs.
However some things to consider for a 5 star rating from me, best practice on the web today:
* No inline CSS / JavaScript unless you have an extraordinary good reason.
Tip: You can link to a js.php file and put header('content-type: text/javascript');, write the file through php OR simply write the dynamic stuff in a <input type="hidden" /> in the page – if you need to add stuff from server side that is.
* Put JavaScript files in the end of <body>

This Slider is really cool, it worked like a charm, i customized it even easy for my clients needs.
I had a little problem with my pge and the slider, but that problem got solved within a few minutes by the developer!

Love it, as it actually works as described. Like OP above, this is the ONLY slider tested that worked straight out of the box. Even better, is that it’s reasonably intuitive (I read no documentation on it, just installed and away I went).

Slider just shows images or HTML, you can’t actually link to a URL. Useless to me as a homepage slider if I can’t use it to promote new posts!

I used the free version to install some simple and sleek slideshows to every post. It is incredibly user friendly and works like a charm.
Then I got a bit bothered by the fact that I could not use the HTML slide type without purchasing the premium version, but I then accepted that it is a pretty great plugin as is.. I was just being greedy.
I checked the price of the premium version and it was $23. A bit more than I usually pay for a plugin, but I really did not want to keep shopping for other slideshows.
Upon purchase I get around 7 more incredibly useful plugins I would normally pay $12 each… so thx, developer(s). Thank you.

This plugin does not protect itself from the themes that may be installed and other modules – the CSS is complex, though does not contain enough context selectors to prevent it from breaking with some themes. It kind of makes too many assumptions.
However, if it works for you, it works really well and is nicely put together. It is a shame it is not compatible with the theme I am using, and not easily fixed.

Update: the author of this plugin has been very reactive and helpful in fixing the CSS in the plugin to work even better with themes. I’ll leave my original comments above for context, but can state within days this was all fixed. Good work ??

At first the plugin wasn’t working because of an issue with another plugin that was forcing wordpress to use an old version of jquery. But Muneeb looked at it and found a solution to the issue now the plugin is working perfectly.
